Josef T.: Die Verarbeitung ist super, genau wie der Klang. Ich mag sie sehr gern und bin froh mich für diese Ukulele entschieden zu haben! Die Tasche ist ebenso von sehr guter Qualität. Nichts zu meckern! Wenn es die 3/4 Westerngitarre wieder gibt, hole ich mir auch eine von Donner.

Stuart Chandler: Very good for me as a beginner as it comes complete with all the essentials and in particular the tuner I've found is a must. Like with all new string instruments, daily tuning is expected and I have notice that one string goes out of tune faster than the others, with two being very stable indeed. The biggest thing for me is the lovely tone this concert Ukulele produces, which after a bit of on-line research is probably due to the fact it has a solid mahogany top. Good purchase.

Edward M. Sousa: My 5 star rating is based on it's intended market and price point. Uke feels real solid and well made. Solid mahogany wood top is nice and only adds to the overall tone and volume. Action a bit high for my taste, but not too bad. A very nice carry bag and other added accessories only add to the value. I like it!

Amazon Customer: Good value for the price. Awesome first ukulele for beginners. Tuner works well and the uke sounds good especially for the price. Nylon strings seem to be good quality. You have to retune it daily for about 1-2 weeks till the strings stretch. After that it stays in tune a little longer. Decent quality picks as well. Again it’s a good value for the price.

Charles: I am a total beginner, but I bought this one because it came with some free lessons. And, because of the coconut palm design around it. I know- sounds really corny, but I LOVE Hawaii- and I love the sound of the ukulele- so I figured it would help me to pick it up and play it- and to enjoy every moment while I do when I see that. It just “hooks the whole experience together”for me. You can call me crazy- that’s fine!!!! I love that it comes with a tuner that is really easy to use also- since I know nothing.

Jim: If my wife was writing this, it would take about an hour to read it, she is just learning to play the Ukulele, last night ( she has been playing for less than A month) her and I played
Vincent by Don Mc Clean , and
Over The Rainbow, by the Blanks,
I was so impressed with this
Donner Ukulele, I just purchased their Straracastor copy guitar,
Both are made to A very high quality
level, I collect vintage Guitars, I don’t profess to know everything,
but the design ( arched back )
the level of resonance, and the
sustain is beyond my belief for A
Ukulele at this price, the quality of finish, A professional musician would not be embarrassed to perform with this instrument,
It plays so very well she has learned very quickly ( she has put in the time, it will not play itself) ,
So in closing Donner has not paid me to say this, or to buy one of their guitars, but for the price I have not seen such quality at several times the price.

BrockBrock: The media could not be loaded.  I’m not much of a ukulele player as you can see from my video. I purchased this mostly to have laying around in case I’d like to add some uke to any tracks I record. Considering the low price and the great looks allowing it to double as a decoration I’m okay with having a just in case instrument laying around. Overall I’m very pleased and can recommend this little guy to anyone who wants a ukulele that’s a bit nicer but doesn’t want to spend a whole lot of money.

Sound: Is very balanced. There’s nothing particularly shrill or cheap sounding about it, it’s just that classic ukulele tone for days. It’s quite smooth and relaxing; so it fulfills the role quite well. It’s actually hard to go in-depth about it’s sound because balanced, smooth, and relaxing describes it perfectly. No one string or part of the frequency spectrum seemed out of step...
