Material can rip easily. Be gentle when installing on back bed. But overall. It's comfy and rad!

MsChevious RebelMsChevious Rebel: First and foremost, my 04 Chevy Silverado has a roll top cover on its 7ft bed and of course the box is at the end of the bed near the cab. I was worried that I didn’t see any reviews on this specific subject. With the tailgate down and the tent strapped snuggly to the bed (roll top pushed back in its box) this tent works perfectly with the roll top still in the bed of the truck. It provided a “shelf” when I strapped the tent to the bed of the truck. I highly recommend this product. Easy to set up (even when you find a camping spot at 1 am and are extremely tired).

ChrisChris: Just got this, shipping/delivery time killer! Tent fits perfect on the truck, hadn’t seen one set up on a Tacoma yet so figured I would post up some pics. Super basic set up if you have ever camped in a dome tent. Taking it this week to test for a few days. Going to use this for a beach run from WA back to hometown in Cali.
Nothing negative to say about this but will update after this week and spending a few nights in it.
So far would highly recommend

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: This tent is one of the cheapest options out there, so I'd say a good value for the price that we paid (~$90). Here are our observations:
- Assembly was pretty straighforward although putting the poles in was very tight. Nothing broke in my case, but I can see why this could lead to either the poles breaking, or the pockets holding the poles tearing off over time like others have reported.
- I put it on an 2018 Ford F150 Crew Cab with short bed (5.5 feet). As you can see in the photo, the tent is a few inches too long. This wasn't a big deal; easily addressed by a 2x4 as shown in the photo.
- The tent was surprisingly warm; I put a 1.5" foam board insulation underneath ($18 for a 4'x8' at Home Depot). My 4y old and I tested it in front of our house while it was raining and the temperatures were just above freezing.
- The tent got a little bit wet inside during our rainy test night. I attribute this to the rain cover not reaching completely over, which is even more of a problem around the tailgate area. It wasn't a huge deal, I think it's fine for a shorter trip when you expect reasonable weather, but I would't recommend it for longer trips or trips where you expect a...

VanceVance: Bought this for a 7 night camping road-trip, and it started out really great. So great that I assumed the rest of the reviewers just didn’t know how to assemble a tent. It turns out I was sorely mistaken.
About 4 nights in, the zipper for the front screen began to rip from the seam, leaving about a fist size hole open by the top. We figured there was too much tension and unclipped one of the sides to make it looser and easier to zip. Then, the front pole began to splinter, which was quickly wrapped in duct tape. That held for another night, and then became unusable. The tent support poles themselves were fine so we just stopped using the entrance pole.
Other than being cheaply and poorly made, another problem was the tent and rain fly and poles are seriously impossible to wrestle back into their carrying bag. I would fold them properly and as small as possible and it was so hard to zip up that we clipped a carabiner to the handles to shut it.
(Sorry this is a long review but I’ve been thinking about it this whole trip and want to save people the same hassle I went through)
The last thing I noted was that the tent with the rain fly IS waterproof. HOWEVER. If you are...
