Kawehi: The item is wonderful! I don’t write reviews often but I was a bit disappointed that the item I purchased didn’t come with the wooden tongs it was supposed to (which was one of the reasons I bought it to begin with). I tried to have one sent to me but they wanted to have me return the entire product for a different one instead of just sending the tongs.

It just seems like a lot more work on my part to have to send it back just to have a small item sent to me, so I opted to keep the item and buy the tongs separately, hence the 4 star review. Other than that it’s a great luxury item.

Zamber: I originally bought this for my clients … but now I use for home! Reasoning if your busy at work u will have to keep refilling water to steam the towels! More suitable for personal use. Other than that it gets hot enough and feels great! Towels are great quality as well

Lucia F: The media could not be loaded.  It's very nice and works for me. The Downfall is the noise it makes. I need these beside me when I am doing treatments on clients and it sounds like a boiling kettle.

C Toth: I had mentioned to my daughter how much I love the hot moist cloth that is placed over my face at the end of a massage. I noticed that it relaxed me instantly. She found this Towel Heater on Amazon and gave it to me for a gift. I have been completely hooked and look forward to a hot wet wash cloth to wash my face with every morning and night. My husband is even hooked.
You may wonder why I would not just run hot water over a wash cloth... well....It takes a while for the hot water to reach our bathroom faucet in our three story home and it has always bothered me to leave the water running - so wasteful, so I usually washed my face with cold water. Now that we have this little steamer, it literally takes about 4 mins for the wash cloths to get steamy hot.
Yesss they are piping hot, but I use the wood tongs and wave the cloth in the air for a second and then apply it to my face. Ahhhh heaven!!! I really like the 8 wash cloths that came with it, they are long rectangle ones, which I prefer over a square wash cloth. I lightly dampen 6 cloths and roll them up and place them into the steamer bowl. We use three a day, so every third day I put in more towels and check the water...

Sandra H.: My “tankless hot water tank” is on the far side of the house. This solved my water waste problem because it takes a minute or 2 to get hot water to my bathroom. Now I just pour distilled water into the heating tank, heat a moistened was towel for a minute or so. And Voilà! My steaming hot towel is ready to use!
Caution! Open the clear plastic lid with the tongs so you don’t scald yourself!

Melodie wight: Perfect little steamer. I run a small beauty salon and this is the perfect size for me. I soak the towels in hot water before my client arrive and the I only need to warm them up for about 5 minutes.
The towels that came with it are nice and thick also and keep the warmth.

Sweta Gupta: Extremely good, you can use the steam towel for your face after a wash, or when there is any sort of pain, like in back you massage the area and then use the towel as a hot compressor. Really good, there is temperature control button. 6 towels came free.

Donnie: It seems great but, the plastic bowl (where the towels sit in) chipped from the heat in several places. I only used it for a week maybe.
Not realistic for my practice, removing the lid isn’t safe - steam burn from it. It’s loud when it boils - isn’t ideal. May be okay in a salon or something. Not a massage clinic. Sounds like your making pasta...

In theory, good ... but in practical use not so much especially for the money spent on it. One up side, the towels were good quality.

Still trying to contact the company- they want me to ship back item and pay for shipping. Then reimburse me 20 bucks back for the shipping costs. For an item that wasn’t use more than a week and broke. But they will refund me my full cost on the item. I think it’s up to them to cover shipping back to them and a full refund. Still waiting to hear back from them.

I would safe for a towel warmer cabinet and not use the boil water system. (Especially made with plastic Warming bowl).
