Sara: Had trouble finding a rocker that both fit our budget and went with the rest of the nursery furniture. This one is great! It functions exactly as needed, and it comes in a variety of colors to match any decor. It was also very easy to assemble. It's great quality for the price and comfortable. The cat loves to sleep on it too.

Carlos Dehesa: En general es una buena mecedora. El rango de movimiento es bastante y me gusta como se balancea, junto con el taburete.
Hay dos cosas que no me agradaron mucho: 1. El cojín del asiento es muy delgado y se sienten los "resortes"(barillas en S). 2. Rechinan los baleros de la silla.

Jerry: Tenemos esta mecedora desde noviembre de 2017 y hasta ahora (mayo 2018) ha resultado exactamente lo que esperábamos. Es bonita, combina perfectamente con el estilo de nuestra recámara, la combinación de colores (madera oscura y cojines claros) luce mucho; es cómoda, cumple la función requerida y el reposapiés añade mucha comodidad si quieres usarlo. Pagamos $3,339.93 por ella y creemos que fue una buena compra.

Lo único que me gustaría que fuera diferente son los cojines. Después de varias manchas decidí lavarlos, y para eso los descosí por el lado de las etiquetas para sacar el relleno y lavar las fundas en lavadora. Quedaron muy bien y las aberturas no se notan cuando la silla está vestida de nuevo. Me gustaría que vinieran así de fábrica (relleno extraíble), pues lavar manchas locales deja marcas de agua o manchas. La única manera de verla bien limpia de nuevo fue lavar las fundas.

MrsRyan09MrsRyan09: Item came on time and was VERY easy to put together. I'm one week away from my scheduled c-section and I easily put it together in less than 30 minutes. I had the same glider with my first daughter in 2010 and loved it. It was simple, but did the job and my first daughter was rocked in it until she was around 18 months old. The material on this glider is microfiber and a very nice improvement compared to the first one I had which was fabric and was easily stained. I still put some blankets on it as I know how easily gliders can get dirty with babies (spit up, sticky fingers, etc.).

My only complaint with this particular glider is that the arm covers don't snap on all the way. The snap holders on mine that are screwed into the chair seemed a little bit bent. I was able to push them out enough for the cover to stay, but it doesn't seem THAT secure. If anything, the glider came with instructions that Storkcraft would send replacement parts free of charge and they clearly state to NOT send back the entire glider. So if it becomes an issue I will contact them and request replacement snaps. It's a simple Phillips head screw holding the snap holder into place...

Peter Francis: I purchased the Stork Craft Glider and Ottoman about 6 months ago.
Pros:
Very comfortable material.
Glides smoothly.
Very easy to move around the house.

Cons:
Material is very hard to clean and near impossible to get milk stains out of.
That squeaking noise everyone is complaining about has nothing to do with the joints, WD40 wouldn't have fixed that; it's the wooden pieces at the back, after about 2 months of occasional use mine did the same thing. The wooden rods somehow start to squeak. It's very strange and I think if it was designed with thicker better quality rods this could have been avoided.

Overall, not a bad product except for that squeek. I thought I was getting a good deal, but I found better quality products for the same price at my local walmart, Sears etc. So I recommend you shop around at your local store first.

Franki Arnold: This glider and ottoman set is just what we were looking for. The black/beige combination is perfect for a more modern look, and it is extremely comfortable. It is large enough to feel comfortable, yet it does not take up a lot of space in our living room. If you have cats, it will collect a bit of hair, but unlike other material I find it is extremely easy to brush/vacuum off. My husband put this together in minimal time and it glides very well. The pockets on the side are a great idea for storing baby accessories (nipple cream, burp cloths/receiving blankets, wipes etc.). We expect to spend a lot of time in it when baby number two arrives in the summer!
