Amazon Customer: its ok if you wear shoes or bare foot standing on it, but when it comes to wearing a sock, it became very slippery. everything else is good!

Kay MillicanKay Millican: I have Nothing bad to say, and only positive things about these rugs :-). I’ve had three spine surgeries and have degenerative disc disease. I used to be crying before I could finish doing my dishes because my back hurt so bad. Now I can stand over the sink and wash dishes & stand at my stove and cook much longer than I ever thought I could because I have these rugs. Sometimes, when my back hurts, I go to the kitchen and stand on my rugs, & it really helps to take all the stress off my back. I wish I could have had these rugs 15 years ago. I could have cooked a lot more food and washed a lot more dishes and not been in so much pain. I highly recommend these rugs for anyone who has any type of pain in the kitchen. I would give them s6 stars if I could!!

BTB: My daughter bought this mat for me to use in the kitchen because of my back issues. She thought it would help while I was prepping and cooking dinner. At first, I was not thrilled to have a mat in my kitchen because I do not like the way they look and I thought it would be just another thing for me to clean. However, I cannot stress this enough, I LOVE this mat. It is so comfortable to stand on and they provide the support I need. It looks fine in my kitchen and it is so easy to clean. I just wet a paper towel or use a sponge to clean it. Nothing ever sticks or gets stuck in crevices like other mats. It looks like it is brand new and I have had it for about 3 years now. I liked it so much that I bought this one for my 85 year old mom...she loves it too.

Ian: I think this ComfiLife Anti Fatigue Floor Mat might work well for someone who places it directly on a hard-wood floor or other flat & hard surface AND does not suffer from medical conditions that might be adversely affected by not having a completely firm mat to stand on. In my case, I have a number of medical concerns (left-leg sciatica/neuropathy, left and right toes' numbness, spinal neurorsis in my C1-C7 neck, thorax and lumbar spine issues, and right-hand tingling that is confirmed NOT to be carpal tunnel but is probably due to spine neurosis) that requires that my feet and back not be shifting around, so I would might have benefitted from a firmer mat than the ComfiLife Anti Fatigue Floor Mat.

Others have described this ComfiLife Anti Fatigue Floor Mat as "squishy" and that is exactly correct. Though this mat may work for someone who does not have medical problems, I found that I actually felt MORE tired/fatigued using this mat than not using this mat, and I am pretty sure it's because this ComfiLife Mat is so soft that one's foot shifts a bit to the left, right, back, and front, depending on how one adjust one's weight. Item is supposed to arrive within 10 days (standard delivery), but I received it after 5 days. That is fast, considering it is shipped from US over a weekend. I count myself lucky, and don't know if I can expect this fast delivery every time. This is my first order through Amazon US.

The mat is medium-soft and supports the body well. Quality is good, and I hope it can last. I have seen review photos of split edges after a few days use; I hope it does not happen to me. Hopefully it can last a long while.

The mat feels rubbery when standing on it. It has to be so, in order to be anti-slippery. However, I am bare-footed at home, and my feet sweat quite easily. Standing on the mat can become uncomfortable to the touch rather quickly. I workaround this by wrapping a piece of fabric around it, and it is perfect now. The CON: I lose maybe 60% of the anti-slippery feature, but it is not too bad. I don't think it is a hazard as it still requires a bit of a push to move it around despite being covered.
