shopfrombedzzzzzz: I have allot of knives. But I really only carry a few. This is one. When I don't feel like rigging up a fixed blade but need something big that will chew up and spit out anything from an amazon box to a car tire, I just grab this. Seriously, fits in the pocket. I've had to pin a rattler with a stick and cut it before, twice, and you just don't want to be under knived out on the ranch...Rock solid. I can afford anything, but it's only Cold Steel then Topps knives for my working knives.

Pamela Powers: Cold Steel NEVER fails me!! I have been collecting knives for two decades now. I ONLY buy quality blades!! (95% of them are Cold Steel) and for good reason. Some of them like this one are for self defense and others are for survival/outdoor uses.
This knife is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE folder!! Not only is it made out of amazing steel, but the sharpness and durability won’t let you down when or if you ever need it!!

TECHTECH: Cold steel makes the best knives! Right out of the box it is LASER Sharp! I purchased it to cut boxes down. I thought the serrated edge would be great to saw through them but it sliced through thick boxes without sawing, the blade just sliced strait through. The stippling on the handle allows for a really good purchase to hold it with non-slip confidence. It was tight out of the box but after a while I was able to flick this giant blade with ease from a closed position with out oiling it.

DTR6484: I have been collecting voyager knives for many many years. Since they first came out from the fantastic Cold Steel genius’; I believed that there would never be a folding knife better nor more of ‘a folding sword’ than the original Voyager XL. I have misplaced a very special case that I had used exclusively for my many versions of the Voyager Knives in my ever growing collection... it’s somewhere in my many locked safety boxes. But I hid these beautiful knives too well. When I saw Amazon had this specific tanto serrated XL version of the line of Voyagers... at this crazy good price... well I bought a couple, until I straighten my garage (again) and find the treasures! But this knife is made with AUS 10. Many of the best Cold Steel knives use VG10. AUS10 is a rarely seen alloy that has massive strength and attributes that are really off the charts. The tanto design with the proprietary Cold Steel serrations makes for a very very serious knife!!! I mean this knife can be a pry bar and a breaching tool. It’s a very long knife when open, that has my favorite locking system in the lock back that on this knife is beyond secure. I have endless love for this piece of powerful...
