Jeff Christian: My edc for years has been a SOG Flash with no complaints. When I decided it was time for something new, I did a little research. I checked out new blade steel, locks, etc. Knives have come a long way. I still have Cold Steel knives that are thirty years old. This one, the AD 10, is the finest folder for the price I've ever handled. Premium steel, strongest lock and comfortably sculptured grips. There is absolutely no blade play, flips open beautifully and locks perfectly tight. I've had lots of knives that you could shave with right out of the box. This blade is on another level. It's so sharp that I had accidentally cut myself without noticing, so buyer beware, this puppy comes sharp as a scalpel. Nicest factory edge I've seen in a long time.

Edsel A: It's even better than I expected! I watched reviews and was on the fence for awhile. This thing is insanely well made! And so tough! This thing will last several lifetimes no doubt!
The blade is thick and very well made. It cuts through everything right out of the box.
The liners are aluminum, which normally would upset me, but they are twice as thick as the steel liners on the 4max Scout I ordered to make up for that fact. In addition to this, the aluminum backspacer is thick and appears well-made.
The pocket clip is tough too and it comes with a separate one for left-hand carry. (or a spare if you somehow managed to break it)
The G10 scales are machined to be very much smooth. They have just enough texture to be comfortable and non-slip.
The knifes lock is solid and well-made, and the blade drops shut when you press down the lever. Its a little scary given how big and sharp the blade is, but it definitely indicates the quality.
I had to knock a star off because mine was missing a screw for some reason, and Cold Steel won't send me a new one. But I can probably find a replacement for it somewhere.
Overall it is fantastic and high...
