TSR: My doggie's liver panel has stabilized. Vet had wanted him to go vegetarian and low carb. He's a dog that loves meat. This pill has helped him eat like a dog, with some modifications. No kale or celery for my guy!

VETS may recommend Denamarin, but then again they recommend crap dog food like Royal Canin/Hill's
know nothing about nutrition or natural ways to heal
END RESULT
My 14 1/2 maltese has IMPROVED her liver bloodwork tests, with this product!
Denamarin may be more recognized, but may not be the best option
Takes owners who research and don't blindly follow a vet's recommendations!

I started using this with SAMe from Coco and Luna to replace the Denamarin shortage a few years ago and have never gone back. My dog takes the Milk Thistle and SAMe willingly unlike Denamarin where I practically had to force it down his throat and he would try to spit it out every time (even when I wrapped it in Greenies pill pockets)! It was so stressful trying to give him Denamarin every day until I had to (thankfully) find alternatives to it. It turned out to be the best thing that happened to us. We’re both so happy with the switch. I have to give my boy 3 pills daily in combination with 3 SAMe according to his weight. He likes these and swallows them like treats every day! OMG! Had I only known about these earlier! My boy is almost 13 years old now and he’s as healthy as ever thanks to this and SAMe from Coco and Luna. Landscape Quilter: We have a nine year old Blue Heeler who has been treated TWICE for extremely high liver function tests. I'm a registered nurse and diligently cared for her. Eating was our biggest hurdle during recovery and I made all of her food and feeding 6 times a day secondary to poor appetite. She was on Denamarin along with a few other meds. The Denamarin always caused nausea which complicated eating even more even with a medication to help relieve the nausea.

On her second episode, (veternarian was unable to determine the cause of both episodes) our vet did caution me that he only had one other dog that had a second episode and that the dog did not make it. Hard for an old nurse to give up and not continue to help her best friend. It took the greatest part of each day cooking the meat and vegetables she needed. And the time to patiently feed her one spoon at a time six times a day, and to monitor and encourage her to get enough water. I became quite creative, blending all her food and alternating the allowed foods on a regular basis to keep her meager interest intact.
