Marcos V.Marcos V.: I purchased this unit because it came with the IR sensor. While its a heavy duty sensor and if hooked up right it would beat any other reflector system its just that, not a reflector system. You need a cable running all the way across the gate to the receiver. There are also terrible instructions usually only letting you rely on reviews and tutorials left by other buyers. If you know these motors and the general idea on hookup you'll be fine but i recommend buying a separate IR sensor.

Here is a pic of my wiring with an enforcer ir reflection sensor. This motors unit is very different to their other similar model. Seems to have a lot more configuration potential.

Yes, I can now control it with my phone! Love it. Also configured remotes, keypad, and other things. A contractor is going to install these this week. I’ll update on how it went...

Update:
The install went well. Both gates are functional. I did not use IR that came with it but rather bought separately for better elegance. The wifi controlling (using app) worked as planned, and I also used a 24V to 5V step-down module to power the wifi controller. Loved playing with the tech. I think it has nearly all the features you would expect in a expensive alternative of this - eagle and the likes. I turned the skeptical installers I have as help into believers!

Marines DortaDuque: I purchased 3 openers about 6 months ago, 2 smaller ones and one bigger one. They were easy to install and work perfectly. It comes with two remotes each so in total I have 6. They open the gates from about 150' away so it is super convenient if you have a large property. Only one remote has stopped working and as I write this review I asked the manufacturer to send me 4 more which I am going to pay for of course. I can't get any generic ones to work with these gates. Hopefully I will hear back from them and I will be able to purchase them.
