E. Kovar: Don't buy these when you *have* to move furniture, buy them and put them under everything because you never know when moving something will be useful. They're trivial little things and will make life far easier even when you've forgotten that they're there. The furniture stays put when you want it to, moves when you need it to.

Something's fallen behind a dresser and you may not bother trying to get it: four legs means working the dresser away from the wall so you don't put pressure on them. If you have these under the legs it slides right out. The cat batted a piece of paper off a small bookcase: I was surprised by what else I found back there.

I inherited a desk that needs to be moved with care. I always check for sliders first.

stargazer2190stargazer2190: I placed 4 of these under a 200 lb couch. I left the sliders underneath the couch for 2 days as I was trying different arrangements. After removing them, the two halves of the felt ones were starting to detach at the edges and there's a permanent indent. The listing said each one can support 110 lbs so 4 sliders under a 200 lb couch should have been fine but it did not hold up well

AOTM: Makes moving furniture for vacuuming easy. Also good to move thins an inch one way to save permanent marks on carpet.

MiniCoopGuy: The sliders work perfectly on hardwood, tile, and carpet. Our new console is about 350 pounds, and I added the sliders so my wife and I can easily move the piece around the room. The sliders are large and make it easy to move. Once we get the piece to its permanent location, we will remove them as they are super large sliders for the size of the legs on the console. They worked as described and are perfect.

Amazon Customer: I needed the gliders for my furniture to make it easier to move around. I expected them to stick on the furniture. These only sit under the furniture. I actually wanted an assortment of sizes. These are all one size. I’m not sure how they are going to work yet and won’t know until next week !
