christopher brydges: Used many quartz replacement mechanisms but wanted this brand for a higher torque. Easy to install but the minute hand is a bit of a faff to lock in position, probably due to tolerances.

LollieLollie: The media could not be loaded. The rest is easy! I dunno why everything has to be in metric when here is the U.S. it isn’t. Easy to reassemble! Yay a few more years for my old cool clock!! Now I just need to spray the hands orange like the original and it’ll be perfect!

CHRIS BONNEYCHRIS BONNEY: Pros: exact fit, one set of hands were exactly the same as the ones I was replacing
Cons: I ordered color set 1 and got a variation of color set 2, i.e. I wanted black hands; however only the black hour/minute hands were included the other set was gold H/M/S Fortunately I did not want a seconds hand and there was a black cap to insert into the end so it looked great when installed.
No instruction included.

Mr. Dana C. Mcpherson: Great replacement works for a clock table I had that was over 3 feet across. It even comes with a sweep hand which the original clock did not. Be careful removing the plastic covering on the hands. They’re very lightweight and will bend.
