H. Cook: I like this and it actually works pretty well. The one issue I have is the plug box, that goes in to the outlet, is pretty big and extends quite far beyond the outlet cover.

If you're trying to plug something else in to the other outlet, like a dishwasher, and they are both directional, they don't fit. I wonder if the plug could be made differently, so that it didn't take up so much space.

I would look more carefully, to make sure it will work, before I bought again.

Matt K: This is the perfect switch for a disposal located in an island where a switch on the wall is not possible. Much better than putting the switch under the sink and turning it on with wet hands.

David mark strauch: Not going to lie I was very skeptical about this at first, I've had it installed with my new garbage disposal for 6 or 7 months and no problems, works as it should. I love how it looks. Does not trigger if bumped, which is a good thing if you have it mounted in your counter top as I do, it gets bumped and things occasionally tip over onto it and it doesn't set the disposal off unless you push it all the way down.

DebraDebra: I wanted a more convenient countertop switch for my garbage disposal, but the name brand was quite expensive and required some electrical work. Thought it couldn’t hurt to try a retrofit like this, and it works great! Took me less than ten minutes to switch out my useless soap pump for this switch. It’s early, but my disposal works great, remains quiet, fits nicely under my counter and in the countertop hole. Highly recommend.

Alicia Madrazo: Este interruptor me lo instalaron para accionar el triturador. Como trabaja con aire previene que no haya accidentes como sería el caso de utilizar un interruptor con corriente eléctrica directa que siempre se corre el riesgo de que le penetre agua con el consabido riesgo.
