JR: Great idea, not great execution. sturdy but very bulky. I have a backpack that has a neoprene (or something like that) slip pocket with a zipper pocket in front of the slip pocket, on the strap. I love it! BUT the backpack does not have pockets inside, has lots of pulleys and straps and no laptop sleeve....so not a very functional backpack for my needs. I am looking for something that can clip or velcro to the strap of a more functional (overall) backpack to keep my phone (and maybe sunglasses) easily accessible. It seems pretty easy to do! But apparently not because my search continues. This one fits my phone and is very sturdy with rugged velcro to keep things save. It is just stiff and bulky but the worst part for me is the hard plastic clip the connects it to the strap. I see what they did and why, but the plastic part bumps my clavicle uncomfortably. The only place it seems to be OK, is if I slide it all the way down to the bottom of the strap, past my hip bone. I don't know if my arm swing or hip would be a problem on a longer hike, as I have only tried to use it at the airport so far. Probably will keep it, as it wasn't too pricey and I don't have anything better yet.

JamieJamie: I'm usually too lazy to review products, but when a product is either outstanding or really sucks, I leave a review. I regularly walk or bike to work with a backpack, and I'm an avid hiker on the weekends. I am also a mountain rescue volunteer. I got this case for my Galaxy S23 Ultra phone. The Ultra is a bulky phone and mine has a Casebourne shock-proof case on it. I can fit the phone and case into this case just fine. It is a snug fit. The case attaches securely to my backpack strap. The flap completely covers the phone. This is important because when you are hiking, you often take your pack off and set it down. The pack strap might flop over or the pack may fall over from the position where you set it and you don't want your phone exposed when that happens. It is also protected when you're bushwhacking through heavy brush like I often am. Your phone is more protected in this case than it is in your pocket and it is very accessible when you need it for a photo or to look at a map. I have used this back and forth to work and the gym for a couple weeks or so. I have used it on 4 hikes I believe. All 4 of those hikes included some off-trail bushwhacking, and two of those hikes were...

JohnnyBE: This was a perfect fit for my iPhone X. Securing it with the included strap to my backpack's shoulder strap made for easy access. I bought my first one in Sept 2021. Bought a second recently as the Velcro on the first one started to wear and not stay closed anymore. I hike often and in all kinds of weather and every season. I'm a Licensed NYS Hiking Guide. I also do a lot of Off Trail hiking, so I needed something that would not get pulled off while going through dense forest areas. It never has. The only time I have to put my phone in a pocket is when the temps got into the Teens and below, as exposure to the cold kills my battery. I now use the old one to hold my Backup Battery Pack for my phone, as it stays in my pack. Well worth the investment.

Valky: If you need somewhere safe and reachable for your mobile phone then use this. I keep an iphone 8 in here which is one of the larger sizes. Have never had this mini strap pocket fall off and the clip on it is extremely strong. Good shield against wet weather too.

Neurasthenic: Easily attached to backpack straps. Doesn’t slide down, but can be transferred to other bags if needed. I‘m quite pleased with it.
