D. H.: The product is good and sturdy but the horizontal link is too short for the stand when it is setup for a sitting position. It works fine if the stand is set to play while standing.

HawaiiRHawaiiR: There is something quite fishy going on in regard to this 2nd Tier Keyboard stand and its reviews. Before purchasing it, I noticed that it had standalone reviews for it at maybe 300-400 total; it wasn’t combined with other items, and you could clearly see that the ratings were not spectacular. After purchasing it, it seems like somehow all the reviews have been merged with other keyboard stands to make it look like it has a better rating. Sorry, but that seems sketchy to me, and after having purchased it, I understand why. It seems like the seller is trying to mask the horrible quality of this item.

Why do I say it’s horrible? Well, for one, there were visible scratches and rust (so bad that it was even on the bag) on various parts of the 2nd tier stand. Furthermore, the screws on the middle crossbar were bent as well, making it super hard to screw in while attempting to assemble this thing. It doesn’t stop there though. The description says that the diameter of the fitting/clamp was 1 1/8”, but even though the bars on my keyboard stand were only 1” (measured with a very precise measuring caliper), they didn’t fit; on my first one of these, I had to tap the...

DtheDelinquent: So... it DEFINITELY does it’s job, but mine arrived with bent bolts. Having just one bent bolt alone can make alignment and setting up a headache.
It’s great for the price, but I should have paid more attention to the mounting diameter.
This works for a smaller diameter stand which are typically cheaper and less quality. Wally World type of stands or the ones you usually find at middle school and high school music classes.
This didn’t fit my Roland and my Proline stand. Thankfully I had a cheaper stand in the garage and I got it to fit after I had to use some pliers to bend the bolts back in place.
The middle adjustment rod is where the bolts were bent and the ends had signs of impact.
Like someone dropped it or even threw it at the ground.
But I was able to make it work. I hope this helps any of you about to buy.
Oh, I’m using a Novation 61SL MkIII 61-Key MIDI Controller on it. I didn’t feel comfortable using my Korg Triton Studio 88 on it. I’m actually kind of scared to use the smaller stand to begin with. Lol.

Emmanuel L. Piñera: Este soporte funcionó muy bien para tener mis teclados en un solo lugar, en mi caso lo necesitaba más por el espacio ya que no uso los 2 teclados a la vez, pero no tenia como almacenarlos para ahorrar espacio.

Es muy fácil de armar, aunque requiere un par de minutos para entenderlo ya que no tiene ninguna guía de ensamble.

Es importante mencionar que no es compatible con cualquier soporte de teclado, debes de asegurarte que la base sea resistente y estable y que el grosor del tubo sea de 1-1/8 de pulgada máximo en diámetro. Soportes como los de Rockjam no son compatibles. Si tienes la base Cromacast, se acopla perfectamente.

Heather: This is not what I would consider a "high quality" second tier. But I was very pleasantly surprised by how well this works, for less than half the price of similar models. While not as versatile as, for instance, the OnStage equivalent...it works perfectly fine, and even has a couple advantages. Since the clamps go over the tubes, instead of being inserted into the ends, it can work on stands with uneven ends. This also allows the ends to be used for other accessories, or left closed. Once assembled (with the crossbar), the stand is very secure. The tilt and height are not adjustable, but I find them perfectly adequate for my purposes.

There are some drawbacks. The clamps can only go on stands with relatively narrow tubing (about an inch in diameter), and will not fit on pro-level stands with thicker tubes. If for any reason you can't use the crossbar, the clamps may not be secure enough to keep the bars upright with heavier keyboards. My top tier keyboards are pretty lightweight, so this isn't an issue for me.

For the price, this is an amazing deal. I'm not using this for my "gig" rig, but I needed a second tier for rehearsals, and one for my home studio. I will be...
