citybeagle: Steady support for electronic pianos and keyboards. Feels sturdier than x-framed models and no issues with leg room. It doesn't have anything to lock the piano in place so you have to be careful it doesn't get knocked off the stand. Biggest flaw is it doesn't fold up nicely for storage; you have to disassemble the stand if you want to store it somewhere.

Hafez Janssens: I got this for a keyboard we received from a. Friend and it is great for the kids. It made it so much easier for them to play. We used a step stool in front and it worked great. The only thing I can see is if you are older the cross bars may get in the way of your legs. Overall a great purchase.

Amazon Customer: I got this stand for my grandson's weighted keyboard, it holds it really well and looks nice. Just wish I would of done my homework a little more and realized it's not adjustable.
Other than not being adjustable I'm happy with it.

Anon: You would think that it arrived without the bolts, because it doesn't specify anywhere that they are already screwed into the leg, and you have to unscrew them. Also, the rubber pole attachments can come off in the box and hide.
Beyond the horribly confusing packaging, it actually seems to be a great piano stand.
It shouldn't be this difficult to figure out, but it seems to be a good product.

P. Schmidt: I run a community band, and I furnish all the stuff that the band members can't be expected to provide themselves, e.g; percussion instrument and accessories, PA system. I like to be able to use some of the same items for other musical groups I am involved in as well, so flexibility and utility are important, and since I am not made of money, price is a consideration.
In this band, we need to have a stand for the bass drum, another to hold a set of orchestra bells, and on occasion, an electronic keyboard. Having one kind of 'universal' stand that will work for all of these as well of for other purposes is desirable.
I have settled on the common "X-stand" design which seemingly everyone makes. The first one I bought cost over $100 (big brand name). So I went looking for something very similar, but more affordable, and selected this "Amazon Basics Classic Adjustable Keyboard and Piano Stand - Single-X".
As a 'single-X' design, it is not as strong or rigid as a 'double-x'/'dual-X'/'2-X' design, but then it is lighter weight and less costly than those.

KJ: Easy to set up; done in under 5 minutes. Very sturdy, yet light; perfect for a 61 key keyboard and could accommodate even longer / wider models. A bit high at 27.5” (70 cm); unfortunately the height is not adJustable. The top horizontal bars extend outward a bit further than the bottom horizontal legs, so may cause damage to wallboard. Also, a thin panel fitting over the sloping side beams would hide the power cord. I will make one out of black melamine shelving material. Admittedly, these are nit picky comments. Would actually rate as four and a half stars if possible. Overall, the stand is as described; also very sturdy yet portable, and is useful as intended. Great value for the price.
