Chill and Open Wine Anytime with the Oster Rechargeable and Cordless Wine Opener

KWS: This served us well for 9 years, just bought the exact same one as a replacement. Have given several as gifts also. Only complaint is that it will penetrate all the way through the cork, and will sometimes leave cork bits in the wine. But, that's a small complaint for the convenience it offers.

Enya G Rubio: Al principio es un poco difícil aprender a usarlo, tienes que acostumbrarte a la posición y sensación que debes tener para que el corcho no se rompa y salga con facilidad. Fuera de eso, es increíble, y la batería dura muchísimo tiempo.

Pablo: Trabaja a la perfección, saca sin problema los corchos. Yo estaba acostumbrado a utilizar otro de otra marca que a diferencia de este, el otro ilumina el corcho y se ve el corcho. Este no tiene luz que ilumine el corcho y no se ve bien a la hora de quitarlo, pero realiza perfectamente su función

Keith Coleman Jr.: I got this as a gift for my fiancé for Christmas and she was pleasantly surprised! I have had multiple electric wine openers up to this point that have all had their flaws. But mostly we have needed to purchase a new one every year. While it has not been a year of me owning this one I am feeling pretty good about the purchase thus far and do think it is quality made.

Pros:
- This is well made. Even though it is plastic feels good in your hand and can take some of the drops that may happen.
- The dock is easy to use. Fits perfectly without much fiddling to get it back where it belongs.
- Good power for uncorking the wine. I have had a few that seem to struggle with stronger bottles.

Cons:
- This doesn't necessarily take away from the product review but this is the tallest wine opener I have owned. Fits just fine in my kitchen but if you have low cabinets this thing will be real close to clearing.

As for the Chiller it does its purpose. Its a snug fit if you use non traditional bottles of wine but it fits just about all of them that I have tried. As mentioned I would recommend this product.

Amazon Customer: The opener for this works great. I haven't had a cork that it wasn't able to open yer (even synthetic once). The foil cutter that has a storage place on the charging base of the opener is also nice. One annoyance about the opener is that the light indicator on the device is always on when its in the charging base. The light is rather large and red. As for the chiller, well I don't see much use in it. Honestly I didn't read the instructions for it, so I am not even sure how it is supposed to chill the wine. It is simply a tin bucket with no cooling device or even insulation to it. With most bottles of wine, there wouldn't even be any room to add ice to it. My best guess is that you could chill the thing in the freezer before putting the wine bottle in it. Perhaps just the nature of the metal absorbing the cold from a chilled bottle is supposed to help keep the bottle from warming up so quickly. I really didnt care about the chiller -- I never intended to use it.
