Pete MacPete Mac: I have been doing pencil drawing since I was about 8 (and dinosaurs ruled the earth :-). However, I was tempted away for years by gouache and the air brush. There is a simple pleasure in pencil drawings and I can knock one out in a day (and a couple of glasses of Scotch :-). I used to blend with my finger, but that does not work for fine detail on hair etc. These "stumps" work very well and the sandpaper is certainly usefull for sharpening and cleaning the tips. Oh deep joy!

Theladyem: I bought this product to use when drawing. I find them easy to use when blending or smoothing areas filled in with pencil. It produces a smoother finish and they are cleaner to use than fingers and there is no messy accidental transfer to rectify. The sandpaper cleaning tool is a good idea, although I have always used a sheet of sandpaper which works just as well, maybe better as the sandpaper provided here is pretty smooth. It is good to have different sizes of blending stumps and sandpaper together in one pack and not to have to search for each individually.

Jenna: The product works great and it definitely has all you need, the only downside I'd say is that it comes with a huge amount of plastic packaging for the amount of stuff you're getting. It's a good product though, I just felt guilty throwing away so much plastic.

Fischfreundin: Das Sandpapier habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert, aber ich kenne diese Art von früher und da hat es immer super funktioniert. Die Papierwischer sind sehr gut und liegen angenehm in der Hand. Man kann sie mit dem Sandpapier auch wieder "anspitzen". Ich bin zufrieden mit dem, was man für den Preis bekommt und ja, man könnte sich das mit dem Sandpapier auch selber basteln, aber so ist es auch gut.

NerdyMom: Never used these before as in the I never used a product like this in my art. I just used Q-Tips. saw someone used it in a YouTube video and decided to buy. I do not know if they work well or not; what I do know this has helped me out tremendously. Still getting the hang of it but so much more easier to blend now

trish d: These work great with chalk (which is why I purchased them). They are of good quality and a wide variety of sizes for different detailing, and with the sandpaper for sharpening, it is a complete set. These were a great price too.

Free 2B Me: I have not used the sand paper sharpeners yet but have personally seen others use them. They work good and should work on the fat pencils we have that won't fit in a sharpener. The blenders are pretty cool. Who knew coloring could be made even more fun than it already is.

Margaret S Taylor: I've just started using blending stumps for blending and also as a stylus. Being paper, they eventually get soggy and the sandpaper strips are really handy for sharpening. I also like the different sizes of the stumps; it makes them really convenient in different areas of a project.

Marlowe H.Marlowe H.: I bought this because I wanted to start pencil drawings again and this stump is perfect for me. The sandpaper is on point. It sands down super easily with no force needed.

When you first get it though, don't make the same mistake I did, it has a little wiggly piece at the top and I start using it with the wiggly part still on and had a hard time. So shave that wriggly tip off before you use it.
