Her lounge clock broke so this was an easy choice to replace with. The dial and numbers were large enough for her to easily read and the clock looks neat and tidy to fit it with other ornaments.

Betty: Alarm clock on battery My electric cord at back of my former electric clock caused a spark that singed my sheet. Could have started a fire There was only the clock and a lamp plugged in the socket. Very scary!

Bob: I love this clock. The digital readout clocks are brighter than a night light, and I prefer a dark room when I sleep. I wanted a battery powered clock with a traditional clock face. I found this clock, ordered it, put in a battery and put it on the nightstand. Simple and effective. It's the perfect size for my nightstand and easy to read. Simple clean without the clutter of an electric cord. A great price too. It does not have a lighted dial, so you can't read it in the dark, but that's what I wanted.

Zen Lady: I bought the clock to know the time while zooming. It seems to keep good time and is completely silent. Marked down slightly for two reasons. The colour is much more of a turquoisy metallic blue than the nice blue colour shown but I couldn't get this to show in a photo. At first I felt it was excessively bright and nearly returned it but now I've got used to it I like the colour. However it's not subtle so needs to be somewhere appropriate to that, in my case on a bookshelf in front of the books. Not really large enough for a mantel. The other point about it is that although the numbers are clear enough, the seconds are shown round the glass in front of the clock face which the photo shows if you look closely. This seems to make face difficult to see in certain lights but it is clear if it is put up a bit higher, eg bookshelf. I am still pleased with it and would buy again. Available with black or silver face as well either by this company who are a bit cheaper or another one.
