Jeff Davis: Works good, but had to drill out the backing plate to accommodate the gauge fitting through the hole in it.

Brandon Kidwell: Simple to install and works flawlessly. Was a little smaller than the original guage for my grill, but dropped in and had no problems. Some adjustments may need to be made to the hole for it depending in the grill. Seems to be good quality!

Jim: This thermometer works great in my Char Broil Performance 5-burner grill. It fits in the mounting plate and screws in with pretty much no issue. The only thing is that my mounting plate was in the shape of a D, but the post on the thermometer is completely round. Once I took some pliers and opened the mounting hole on the grill, everything was fine.
Annoying that mounting post shape wasn’t mentioned in the description, but not enough that it was worth it losing any stars.

Gort5621: It’s a good replacement, didn’t fit perfectly into my grill , but it wasn’t supposed to , it fit other grill in the charbroil family but my was different, I took a chance on this one cause charbroil doesn’t make my model part anymore, so I got this one , it’s made very well and does it’s job well , but fit was a little small I had to enlarge the hole just a little for it to sit right and tight. But it’s a good replacement.

Blacksheep: Typically reads 25F low vs a electronic thermistor probe but its close enough for what it is.
Mechanism is slow to react and a little sticky but once it settles it's okay. Fit perfectly in the 2inch bezel on my Weber.
