Amazon Customer: First off the belt is made of high quality leather and metal (buckle, etc.). Now going to the best part. You basically cut the belt to give it an exact fit for you before you wear it the first time. Next the ratchet/buckle technology can’t be explained to do it justice, but as my friend who told me about this belt said, “trust me, you just have to experience the belt to understand how great it is”. With that, i figured $20 is not that much to gamble on the recommendation of my trusted friend’s suggestion that I “just buy it”. Not only was he right on point, but i was floored at the ease of use and high quality product I just purchased. The only con I have related to this product is that I didn’t buy 10 of them. I will never wear another belt again!

JWBledsoe: This is my Second Chaoren Slide Belt. The first (a Black One) arrived promptly, and had markings on the inside on how to cut to the proper lenght for you waist. The Belt was a great fit following the trimming, and I am very comfortable with it. This is a belt ment to last you a lifetime as the material is top-knotch and
thick and sturdy.. Based on this, I purchased a brown belt and was not dissapointed as it was just as good
as my black belt. This is a solid company that cares about their product and their quality. If you need a
belt, this is a great purchase and addition to your wardrobe.

Lonn Howard: The construction and finish of this belt exceeded expectations. I wear size 32 jeans and ordered the 30-34 size and it fits perfectly as I like the tail end of the belt to go through the first belt loop. If you’re a size 34 I’d suggest you order the next larger size. What the ad copy doesn’t mention is that if the belt is too long it has cut lines on the buckle end to reduce the length in one inch increments.
The buckle is a high polish finish on mine and the ratchet mechanism works beautifully. Order with confidence.

Dies war am Anfang für mich nicht selbsterklärend, aber schlussendlich ist das ein tolles System dahinter und Anleitungen waren auch mit dabei. Der Versand aus den USA dauert zwar ein wenig, aber man wird schlussendlich mit einem tollen Gürtel belohnt.

whatever: This kind of ratchet belt is obviously amazing. I have two others.

This is my first one with a big metal rectangle style buckle. (The other two are made to appear at a glance like a traditional belt with a metal pin that goes into holes.) Anyway, be aware that the buckle may not lay completely evenly flat from left to right. This is due to the asymmetry of the mechanism. However the design is not really deficient because if the unevenness were eliminated there would be some other kind of assymetry and maybe a sharp edge sticking out. Also, of course, pretty much nobody else is going to notice or care. And I have a shirt over it more often than not anyway. But maybe you'd prefer a ratchet belt in a different aesthetic design, all else being equal, if you're a little OCD like me.

One other thing to be aware of that's probably more important is the directionality of the release lever. My other two ratchet belts release when the lever is pressed in. With this one you pull it out. So my muscle memory is a bit confused. I already trimmed the belt to size so I can't return it. I suppose I'll see how it works out for me. But it will probably be a bit annoying because I like...

La verdad es que este tipo de cinturón me ha resultado mucho mejor. Puedo ponerlo exactamente a la medida que a mi que gusta, cosa que no puedo hacer con un cinturón de agujeros.
