Sandy: These pens are quite light weight, I’d expect a metal pen to have a bit more weight to it. It took a bit to “prime” the ink for first use, but seems to write consistently now at least. Packaging is a simple clear cellophane bag not really gift worthy but fine for self purchase.

Hab: I'm not a pen guy so if you know anything about pens other than they're used to write, I'm not qualified to speak on how good of a pen this is. But as a guy who typically uses the standard BIC pens, I love this pen. I keep one on my desk and love that it snaps onto a magnet I have right in front of my keyboard. I always know where it is and can grab it quickly. I like that I don't need a big caddy just for a couple of pens. I also have one by the bed and the kiddo ran off with my third one. I've had these for about 10 months and haven't needed to use a refill. I much prefer these over those packs of plastic pens. I recommend this if you're looking for a pen that will work and has a touch of elegance.
