Maple Shade: I needed a paint that would adhere to extremely old boards that I wanted to keep original. The chalk paint went on with one coat, was an even finish, absolutely love it!

LaurenLauren: Purchased the Sage Advice color. I applied very thin coats to avoid imperfections, so it took three coats to look even and achieve full coverage. Coats dried quickly, so it didn’t take very long! Color dries significantly darker than it looks in the bottle, which is actually closer to the true “sage” color I was looking for. Very pretty matte finish. Although it was a little pricey in my opinion, overall very happy with the finished product!

jill langjill lang: So a friend of mine went dumpster diving and picked up a couple of wooden chairs so I thought that I would get some chalk paint or milk paint to give them a fresh look. I had seen country chic paints on Amazon in the past and I was interested, but had no reason to purchase them so when I got these chairs, I decided that I wanted to try a color and I am so glad that I did! I have never actually painted with chalk (country chic paints are actually a clay base) paint before, so this was a fun paint to try. when it dries, it turns into this beautiful rich navy blue. I don’t even know if the picture does it justice but it’s a gorgeous color. I need to refinish the chair seats but I wanted to post this first. If you’re thinking of purchasing this paint, I wouldn’t hesitate. I think you’ll really like it. It’s self priming, and they do recommend a product called tough coat for a finish if it’s a table top, otherwise, try a wax or a glaze for special effects.

Treva125Treva125: I bought this to paint an MDF wood aquarium stand that was gray. I did sand the stand and clean it well before starting to paint it. I used one jar of off-white color, and applied 4 coats (following the directions for time between coats) because the paint isn't very thick, and some spots took multiple coats. After it was completely dried, I used Clear Coat - Eco-Friendly Clear Satin Sheen Top Coat for Chalk Style Furniture Paint, Very Durable, Non Yellowing, Waterproof Sealant for High Traffic Furniture - Indoor/Outdoor - Pint (16 oz) of the same brand. I applied 2 coats of this. It's been about 2 months, and so far the paint is holding up really well, even on the shelves, where I often slide the cubes in and out.

Laura McGrealLaura McGreal: When I received the jar I thought it was so small and didn't think I would have enough. I actually still have some left after using it on my front door cabinet. Love the color and very happy with the coverage. It also dries quickly!! Now I need to put a clear top coat on it to make it durable and easy cleaning.

Cindy K GibsonCindy K Gibson: I hate to paint. But i had a dresser with ripped decoupage, been beat up after many moves, and abused by my psycho cat. Went through the process to strip off junk and left the rest as is. Decided to try this. #1 it is thick but goes on really nice. SUPER forgiving. I really stink at painting but this went on flawless. I used a brush and also a cheapo foam roller. I can’t even tell after it is dry. Nice and even. #2 the color is exactly like advertised but i struggled to get my phone to show that color. I took a shot in 2 different lights. It looks a little greener in person. Which is perfect. It dries really quick and i did a couple coats. Now, the finish is very chalky which edges my teeth so i will probably get wax or something to at least do the top..maybe one of these days. This exceeded my expectations (so far). I haven’t cleaned it yet and not sure of durability. It’s still a win so far.

KikiKiki: Amazing product! I just did a quick patch on the dresser to make sure I liked the colour, and I am in love! It went on nice, I didn’t have to use a lot and it washed off my hands and brush nicely afterwards.
Country chic is a great company and I will order a lot more. I also love their videos! They are super helpful and I have learnt alot from them!
