Autosport Technique: Have used this make for years. Would recommend.

Jamesamazonian: This is a very well made torque wrench, it is pin point accurrate and reliable. I was not as accurrate and I ordered the wrong one 2x. This wont let you down, but I might.

Amazon Customer: Received it well packaged with the calibration slip. Great fit and finish. Well worth the investment. Should have bought it years ago.

Dave: A little on the pricey side, but in the end you really do get what you pay for. These style torque wrenches also allow both left and right hand thread operation. Easy to zero for years of accuracy. Come with proper storage case with foam insert to ensure torque wrench doesn't get damaged.

Amazonshopper0702Amazonshopper0702: Made in USA Inch-lb torque wrench. Dial measures 0-150 inch pounds as well as 0-18 Newton Meters. Great protective plastic case with fitted foam inserts. Includes instructions and factory calibration cert sheet. Dial is easy to read & memory needle works as it should. Worth every penny in my opinion. Thank you CDI for making a quality product in the USA (and in the over regulated state of CA not to mention!) I took some pictures of what you get and a decent shot of the dial. Hope that helps.

K. L. Glick: This product worked a advertised. It has an easy to read dial and measures accurately. The tool is well made. The instructions do not cover all that is to be learned on using this. For example, there is a pointer that is set at the desired torque reading. The torque pointer is bent at an angle so that when it hits the set pointer, it will nudge it forward. Thus, when you are at an angle where you cannot read the face of the dial, just push or pull the torque wrench until you see the set pointer move. A bit pricey, but the harbor freight product I had before this was good for only one use whereas this wrench is good as new after week of use..

Jim Jones: For those who are unaware, dial torque wrenches are the most accurate type of torque wrench available today. They are simple, and have few moving parts, so they rarely go out of calibration.

This wrench with it's 0-50ft/lbs (also has a Nm scale) range makes it ideal for engine work and other torque sensitive tasks.

CDI offers the best price for an accurate torque wrench. No other tool supplier comes close.

Jeff Vier: First, I had no idea that CDI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Snap-On Tools. But that explains why this tool is so, so delightful.

The case it comes in is perfect -- holding it snugly without being cumbersome. Included is a detailed calibration document and user manual, as well as a little desiccant pack.

The gauge face is a brilliant, easy-to-read blue. The "active" vs" memory" needles are easy to distinguish.

Just be aware that during use, it's *very* sensitive. Snapping a socket over the ball detent is enough to cause the needle to spike dramatically (which will shove the memory needle, too, necessitating a manual reset back to zero). So, you need to be very delicate when you're taking a measurement, but the tool itself does not seem fragile, just extremely sensitive.

Pachyderm: Used this to set bearing preload on the pinions of five differentials (two Jeep Wranglers and a Volvo 740). This is the tool you need to do this task. You cannot use a click-type torque wrench to set rotational preload. This is a very well built tool that comes with a Certificate of Calibration Accuracy. You can recalibrate this one, too. It is either made by or for Snap-On and the quality is apparent when you open the box. Easy to use, super accurate. Highly recommended if you need one of these guys at a fairly decent price. This one will work correctly and last a lifetime.

JFF: This is a piece of functional art. In a world of imported, "soon to be in a land fill" products, this is one that I will die with and I know it will still be functioning properly! Wow, I am so impressed! This is a through back to days when manufacturers took pride in their products! It is a beautify thing to just look at. I almost wish the case was transparent so that I could keep in on my desk and admire it!!! The chrome is polished to a mirror finish on the faces of the wrench and on the bezel of the gauge.

It has both inch-lbs and Nm. It works in both clockwise and counter clockwise directions. It has a large easy to read dial that has two needles, one reads torque the other is a "follower" so that you can read the max torque reached once the force is released.

The wrench uses a torsional system rather than a standard spring system. These are much more reliable and tend to not come out of calibration as easily. Also, there is no need to remember to "zero" the settings as it naturally goes to zero when the force is released.

One final thought: the wrench comes pre-calibrated, this doesn't seem like a big deal but a couple of the...
