Diane Parachino: Great calculator that does'nt need batteries. Just needs light source to operate. Can use anywhere. Best calculator for the price.

Amazon Customer: The case was a little hard to get off at first but I did manage to fix it. It works fine.

Brian D.: I have had one of these calculators for about 30 years and finally needed to replace it because the keys started to stick a little. So I replaced it with the same model number. There has been slight changes in the size and design but basically this is the same calculator I am replacing. You cant beat solar. I use my calculator daily. My son keeps telling me to use the one on my phone but this one is great and handy and never needs to be charged. It is worth lots more than it cost me.

xgamerxgamer: I have owned Casio scientific calculators for years. Always reliable & reasonable priced. Quick delivery.
It arrived in a box, not the original packaging and has dirt marks on the case.
This was not advertised as a used product, or open box. I would not have ordered this product if I had known ahead of time. Disappointing.

mel: Smaller than i expected, which is not a bad thing, and has enough functions for me to get by. It's perfectly functional, cheap and even survived a bit of water splashing. I have been using Casio calculators for many years and I know this baby can survive disasters.

However, there are some flaws I find strange and I came from a much more complex scientific calculator so my complaints may not be very valid. There is no "off" button so the constant 0 that stays on the display is slightly unnerving. The keys are very raised which makes it difficult to get precise keystrokes, especially when trying to rush through an exam. The M+ button, which I do not use often, is much too close to the "=" sign. I end up hitting the button unintentionally and it takes me more time to redo the calculation. Even moving the "=" to the corner would probably be a nice change. The blocky design along with its small mass make it awkward to operate with one hand -- it feels like it's about to slip away.

Again, this is a nice cheap calculator that is perfect if you are not in a crunch. But for a student who will be doing a lot of math in exams, I would probably find something more ergonomically...

yzy: This is a great product. It does what it suppose to do and it does it right.

If you're a student, I recommend this calculator for its functionality, durability, plus you don't need to worry about changing batteries. And more importantly, it is powerful enough such that you always know what you're doing. Some calculators are packed with too much functions such that students will not do the math themselves. If you're a professional, this calculator is lightweight, portable and simple to use. Doesn't require much learning time (if you did want you supposed to do in school).

It is certainly no Matlab or Mathematica, if you're expecting heavy calculation or graduate level maths out of box, this is not for you, and, frankly speaking, I will point you to a real computer not a calculator for those jobs.

Mark: I ordered this calculator because I needed a single lined calculator for my MA22300 calculus class like wtf? Why a single lined calculator? -_-
Anyways so here are my pros and cons:

Pros:
It's one lined perfect for my calculus class
Cheaper than the ones around my campus that suck
It's solar so I don't have to worry about changing the batteries
Keys are very responsive and nice to the touch
It's a very durable calculator
It's also very lightweight
It has everything I need for my MA223 class
I find the calculator to be pretty stylish

Cons:
It's only 10 digits
... that's about it?

Overall I find it a very stylish calculator. I like how cheap it was and how many functions it has. I think I might be using this calculator until planet Earth enters the next generation of technology.

Mark W Cappone Jr: This is my 3rd purchase of this calculator.

I carry one in my shirt pocket when out of the house and also keep one beside the chair in the den. This one will replace a higher-end Casio we keep in the kitchen, but which has many features we don't need and, oddly, doesn't use the same basic key layout and operation sequencing as this one. Too troublesome to switch back and forth.

Have owned many hand held calculators since the early 1980's (when they were brutally expensive). For me, this model has the right mix of price, features, and intuitive operation. Easy for everyday plain use, straightforward memory features, and all the advanced functions most folks would want, including easy exponents/roots, statistics, and trig. Too bad cars didn't have a similar price/performance/cost curve as calculators and computers.
