Donald Elliott: Like the way the courses come up easy to start a round. I also like the magnet so I can stick the devise on the cart. Quick read outs. No aiming, no clumsy case or heavy unit to bounce around. Why would you want an aim and shoot device when this one is so simple to use and almost invisible to the process of the game.
The first time I charged it I did not realize you then had to then turn it off. My only issue, solved after one use

beachart: I have an Izzo Swami 6000 range finder for golf. It fits nicely in this case, but the charging adapter does not. The cord fits it the side pocket, so if you don't need the adapter, you're in great shape.

Analyst: I have had the Swami for years. This is the newer version, and it is even better. The screen is more bright, it responds quickly, and is convenient to carry. The shape is great just for putting in your pocket. For most of us golfers, this Swami gives you all of the data you really need. We are mainly concerned with the distances from around 150 yards and in. It does give you the distance as the crow flies, so you have to adjust for dog legs and things like that. There are several new features on this Swami, such as distances to various hazards. I have not used that feature as yet. I will update later. I just wanted to let the users know that this is a great device, with the basic information which is all the average golfer really needs.
