H. Arndt: This product cleans very well compared to other brands I have tried. It also leaves less residue. It leaves a strong Lemon scent after the wash is complete, so keep that in mind if your sensitive to strong smells.

JayBear: We switched over to these based on the Wirecutter recommendation. We had been using another brand for over 5 years, and they worked pretty good, but we were looking for a change as the old brand wasn't working as well since we had moved homes and had changes to the washer as well as the water.
These have been great! Glassware still looks nice and clean, and it seems to work a bit better on harder to wash items like pans. It's not as perfect as the ads might make you believe, but we are very happy with these. Bonus points for no extra dyes and such.

TC: Highly recommend switching to this from regular Cascade. We've been using Cascade pods for many years and were never bothered by it because the cleaning power is great, but once we had a baby and started washing silicon plates and cups in the dishwasher, we noticed it'd always leave a chemical scent that would not come off (tried boiling it in hot water, hand washing etc. but nothing worked so eventually decided to throw items out). Granted, silicon products retain smells we found out, but it made us wonder if there was another product out there that would work better and be safer. We tried other "free and clear" brands such as Seventh Generation, but those simply didn't clean our dishes well. This one cleans it really well and does not leave any strong scent on dishes.

sierra11: I tried this product due to being dye-free and hoping the scent would be light and not over powering. (I had been looking for a dye-free AND scent-free dishwasher detergent that wasn't overly expensive, but couldn't find one.) Upon opening the dishwasher when it's finished I get the same whoosh of perfume, which I don't want. This product cleans dishes well.
