Its high-quality material ensures an extended durability, making it the perfect giftable item. Beth Meyer: These microscopes are way more powerful than I expected and my kids (ages 6 and 3) absolutely LOVE them. We even saw tardigrades!!
Usually we don’t even use the slides bc it’s so engaging for the kids to run around and use their microscopes directly on the ground, etc.. But I had to leave a review and report that it DOES indeed work for viewing tardigrades. My 6 year old was beside herself with delight.
Oh and we’ve had these for over 6mo and they have held up to heavy use. Recommend!!

Christopher Parker: Worth every penny. Takes a small amount of patience and learning curve to use but worth it! Easy for kids and fun for adults. I suggest age 5 and up.

Lane Bensussen: I bought this for my son to use while exploring the woods of central Missouri. It worked great and he loved it. LED has the right amount of brightness and it’s easy to focus. Controls are big and easy to use for little kid hands. He loves bugs and getting to see them up close was fascinating for him.

Shawn: I bought these for my niece and nephew and two others for my friend’s kids. The idea was to help them have some fun outside, away from screens and to explore during the summer. They’re well made, easy to use and really cool. The kids love them, and I think I might get one for myself too!

HSS: I bought this for my 5 year old grandson as a Christmas gift and mhad it delivered to him…. on a visit to see him in February, I got a chance to see it for myself and demonstrate its use and operation to my grandson. I used an onion skin and leaf to demonstrate it. I found it was easy to use both for me and him, and was surprised at the quality and resolution of the image. My grandson saw the image and was truly amazed at what he saw, and once I showed him how to use it, he could then use it by himself. The controls and light worked well and were simple to use. I was impressed with the usability and price point of this small microscope. Perfect for a budding science student, no matter what age they are!

Braxis: Works well enough for a child who is exploring the world around them. Is it high quality, no. Does it work, yes. For the price you are not getting a professional piece of equipment. That said it does work well. My niece is a budding scientist who loves exploring nature. She " has been waiting her whole life for this". I tried it out and the view is very clear not tack sharp but better then I expected. It holds slides and has a removable base to use on large samples like rocks. The LED light is bright enough to be useful and as she pointed out can be used as a flashlight. The batteries it cam with did not last very long but a new set has lasted for a couple of months. The build quality is kind of cheap but sturdy so it can take a beating. About the only real down side is no way to interface a camera. So you can't put your cell phone up to the eyepiece and take photos. If you have budding scientist, are an elementary school teacher, or just like to see the world a little closer, you can't beat the deal.
