Carnation Breakfast Essentials – Delicious Powder Drink Mix for a Nutritious Start to the Day

Aaron Dutra: I have been drinking this for a couple of years! I had face cancer and I’ve had a lot of side effects from the chemotherapy and radiation. I started using this because of having trouble eating. Works wonderful for keeping you taking in calories! I still have problems with eating and I have lost most of my teeth so I drink one or two every day! I love the vanilla flavour the best I even add a little caramel syrup for the flavour! I also like the chocolate! It really helps me get the calories I need and it’s so yummy I feel like I’m having a yummy milkshake!! Cancer is a life changer but I’m so happy I found something good for me and Great tasting!!

LetiCLetiC: These are very nice powder drink, dissolves easily and has excellent taste. I'd say the price is right considering ready to drink version really are a bit expensive, I usually drink it with corn flakes as a convenient quick and delicious breakfast. I'm really enjoying this product would recommend to anyone to give it a try.

Wendallyn: My son loves these, they taste just like chocolate milk, yet they have protein and vitamins, so I like that they make a quick breakfast on those days when he is running late for school.
The ready to drink kind are much more expensive and bulkier to store, so I prefer the powder mix. I have a little mixing / frothing wand that makes it super easy to fully mix without leaving powder in the glass.

dombey37: We've been drinking this -- on and off -- for years; it used to be called "Instant Breakfast". If I was in a rush in the morning and didn't have time for breakfast, I would just take a minute to make this in a to-go cup and drink it on the way to work. I found that I would feel better having this rather than just coffee, it was very satisfying. So now that I'm taking care of my mom (she has Alzheimer's) and she doesn't always eat as much as she needs to, I thought I'd get this for her rather than some of the other pre-made drinks that are out there (and that are so much more expensive). This way, I'm getting some nutrition into her and some liquid, because she doesn't drink as much as she should either. And she loves it! I make a glass for her every day and she drinks it up without any problem (meals and drinks usually require some coaxing on my part). I have it on subscription now so I don't have to worry about running out. Very happy that Carnation still makes this, it's been a classic for good reason.

Pamela H.Pamela H.: I am a cancer patient currently on chemotherapy. I am struggling to keep my iron hemoglobin up to a good level. I have previously had to have blood transfusions because of my “low” numbers. I have tried other drinks to boost my health and all of them taste bad. I remembered drinking this as a child and didn’t remember and aftertaste with Carnation ( instant breakfast) currently named Carnation Breakfast essentials. The taste is pleasant and easy to drink with NO aftertaste.

My blood is checked weekly. In one week after drinking this mix daily and sometimes twice a day my hemoglobin went from 7.5 on May, May 25 2020 was 9.1. June 19 2020 it was 11.2 I am taking iron supplements and folic acid and have been for 3 months but my iron has been going up slowly. This jump of 2.1 is a miracle.
In May 2020 I was sick in the hospital I almost died from Bacterial pneumonia. I am thankful for this drink... it saved my life because I couldn’t have the chemotherapy I needed to beat cancer.
