Martha G.: I read this very informative book when my mother was diagnosed with dementia in 2015. It’s like the “what to expect when you expecting” books of long ago. So much helpful information for the many phases, issues, obstacles one faces when dealing with the ever changing issues dementia/Alzheimer’s presents. Great section on caregiving as well. I give this book to friends that are facing the challenges a caregiver or loved one will face during the dementia/Alzheimer’s journey! HIGHLY Recommend!

RAF4: This book came recommended to me by my doctor who says he’s been recommending it since the 70s. It opens up the world of dementia and Alzheimer’s patients, allowing us to see why elderly parents and friends, who are enduring the ravages of these diseases, behave as they do.
I very highly recommend this book to anyone who is dealing with loved ones who have been diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer’s. A true blessing.

Ms. R. A. Rowett: Has really helped me understand my mum's Alzheimer's. The only negative is it is very American in places so some of advice for getting help not relevant for UK. But gives you an idea of what to look for
