Zinc oxide IS the active ingredient for treating the skin breakdown
When changing diapers I washed the area clean and applied the cream every time and in just a couple days it was cleared up nicely
Even her doctor complimented on me doing so
I also used it on myself for dry skin itching and it worked well for that too

DC: I want to get some shea butter, combine with zinc use a blender and make a whipped moisturizer. Zinc is very good for the skin, it is a plumper and encourages collagen growth.
