The only lights in the house that worked were these even through the thick smoke and although they mainly melted they lit our way out! Wunder One: I bought these flashlights more than once - gave as gifts - easy to charge - I walk in the forest in the dark, so I wanted something with a strong and direct bright light - to see if there were big hungry animals in my surroundings. Also used in household. Used everywhere. Now not available to me (wrong country), so I'm stuck with what I'm stuck with. But hope Amazon categorizes them as flashlight. And hope customers are as happy with them as I.

Debbie: I keep several of these in the basement. They provide just enough light at night to allow you to navigate without turning overhead lights on and are invaluable when the power goes out. This is the second pair I've purchased and I highly recommend them.
