Capshi 10-Foot VGA to VGA Cable

Savvy Shopper: I bought this replacement cable to revive an old monitor, which it did successfully. I have it set up with an older PC just for streaming movies.

PROS:
This is a High Performance VGA cable (male to male). It's VERY well made. It has Plug and Play function, 1080p Full H, and Strong Anti-interference. The 24K Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and the copper lines help get a great signal. Smaller profile can make it easier to connect your devices. I especially like the reinforced nylon braided covered cable, which gives a better signal transmission and protects against electromagnetic interference (EMI) or radio frequency interference (RFI), which is often a problem with cheaper cables.

CONS:
The smaller profile can make it harder to finger-tighten the screws for smaller/tighter spaces.

COMPS:
As compared to connectors which are not 24K plated or cables which do not have the braided cord cover, I find this to be a superior product.

VERDICT: Good value for money, in direct comparison with traditional cables.

Tommy TBones Cramer: I purchased an old HP DL360 server and had to purchase this VGA cable because I couldn't use the KVM switch which has HDMI and the converter wasn't working so I had to get a cable and eliminate the KVM. The cable is well made and I like it. I would buy again

Mason: One of the best looking VGA cables that I've ever seen. Even feels of high quality.

That being said, the shielding or something in this cable is questionable. I bought this to replace and old cheap VGA cable that was picking up interference from other electronics, which would put lines on the monitor that I'm using. This cable did a better job at keeping that issue to a minimum, but it is still there. I have had plenty of cables over the years that didn't have this issue. OEM's tend to do a better job with this.

I've seen cheaper cables give a better quality image. That being said, if you need a nice looking VGA cable that does technically do the job, this is a good buy.

Also, anyone that bought this thinking it would be easy to hand thread into your ports... you knew it was like this when you bought it. Rate the product for the promises that it didn't deliver on.
