J. Phillips: The media could not be loaded.  Don't waste your time/money buying this. Immediately upon unpacking, the device refused to start up, continually looping through its startup sequence (see video). Contacted the manufacturer who confirmed that there was no troubleshooting steps available, and was promised a replacement. But the manufacturer stopped responding to emails, and a replacement was never received. Amazon refunded my money.

I always tell it like it is: the service was excellent, even if the camera was defective, does not mean all of them are like this. Sometimes you get a lemon; but the seller does stand by their warranties.

sather1: This camera is horrible. Buttons work half the time. You have to buy some codec online if you want to view or download videos. Absolute scam. Very disappointing

just another guy: This camera takes great video and pictures and has excellent sound-capturing capabilities. The laser pointer is excellent for calibration and also comes with a very bright flashlight built in. It is very durable and very well built. It takes amazing video in complete darkness. It comes with a belt clip and a larger clip that rotates and adjusts up and down, very useful and can also be used as a tripod to support free-standing.
It does not have motion detection as described. The big problem I had with it was that the battery would not come out and I had to pry it out which took a long time. There is a little plastic tab that you pull on to remove the battery and it broke off. The charging station has 2 little rubber spacers that enable the unit to sit vertically and charge, but they sometimes come out and now I can't find them, so I have to charge it by plugging the cable directly into the unit. I am also having a hard time finding replacement batteries. 1 battery is dead after 16 months, as I could not get it out of the unit, I had to use it continuously. No replacement batteries are sold for the unit, so when the batteries can no longer hold a charge, the unit is no longer...

I work security full-time and got this because putting my phone in my pocket is a hassle if I have to get a photo of somebody to trespass them from my property. I initially bought it because it posted a wide angle camera with 4K resolution. When I got it, I looked over all the reading materials and what came in the box and was not quite impressed but not un-impressed either. I used it for about 2 weeks and had a love/hate relationship with it. When dealing with a suspect/detainee the video would be rolling and would only be able to hold a 30fps stream regardless of resolution. If i needed a still photo from the video stream, the video would pixilate as soon as the video was paused. Lastly, i had a scuffle (only one) and my camera got knocked off of me due to the clip being low quality and now will not charge the ONLY battery that ever worked since i got it 2 weeks prior.

Sometimes I’m paintballing and want something for that, I don’t think this is what I’d use this for. This is best for the casual person who is skeptical of the world around them. That would basically describe my worldview unfortunately and this body cam is best for recording it and also proof if anything happens to me. Descent quality picture too

Robert N. Gangnon: The camera takes very good pictures, videos and recordings. It connects well to the computer for viewing and editing.
I can't get optic zoom of 1 to 16x to work and so far have not been able to change to black and white and night vision. Possibly because the manual is hard to understand.
I use it when I do daily walks to record bicycles pushing me off the sidewalk or hitting me, cars pulling into driveways and blocking my path/movement, and loud speeding cars and motorcycles.

servando acostau: Testing it out, seems very well put together. Pretty solid casing. Good video quality. It is also pretty easy to set up very user friendly. Take a deep breath and just run through the functions like a piece of cake.
