Wolf: Tja, diese Machete liegt sehr gut in meiner Hand und ist doch ganz ordentlich ausbalanciert. Auffällig ist, daß sie wirklich sehr scharf ist und das gilt ebenso für die Säge (man muß wirklich aufpassen, wenn sie aus der Scheide zieht) ! Die doppelte Sicherung sorgt für den Griff sorgt dafür, daß man sie wohl kaum verlieren kann. Die Scheide gefällt mir ebenfalls sehr gut, sehr robuster Hartkunststoff, den ich auch von anderen Messern schon kenne. Das kleine 2. Messer ist eher niedlich und läßt sich erst gebrauchen, wenn man die zusätzliche Kordel-Schlaufe an der Grifföse öffnet. Die Gürtelhalterung ist zwar so lang wie der Griff, läßt sich aber effektiv aber nur für ca 3-4 breite Gürtel verwenden, da ungeschickterweise die obere Griffsicherung mit der Kordel verbunden ist. Alles in allem ein tolles Produkt -da auch noch titanbeschichtet- für multiple Einsätze auch zum graben und andere Aktionen bis hin zur maximalen self defense ...

jhjh: Motorcycle camping, there was a ban on campfires so I didn't bring a hatchet or a saw. I did however pack the Camillus Carnivore Inject, which I had owned for years at this point. I thought it's a good all around survival tool , I'll never need it but it pays to play it safe. So I get my on-off road ,dual sport motorcycle stuck on a tree. Yes a tree. I'm a novice offroader, I forced the front tire over a fallen tree that was blocking the road, and then the back tire just dug a hole and my bike was stuck. Perfectly balanced on the tree. After a few minoutes Of thinking I decided I need to cut this tree in two places and pull out the middle chunk, (this is after 20 minoutes of reving the engine , spinning the tire till it was smoking and rocking it back and forth, all that jazz, no luck). So out came the Camillus Carnivore Inject. I didn't know if this $30 knife was the real deal or not. IT IS! It took a long time , an hour and a half maybe. But it did it , it did not break, bend , malfunction, chip, or anything like that.
