Callaway Golf Men's Strata Complete Golf Club Set with Bag and Balls

Steppa: These clubs are probably the highest quality clubs you can get as a beginner. The appearance of these would make you think they are in the 1,000 dollar range, but are only 400, crazy. Very trustworthy brand as well, being a smaller brand made by Callaway, one of the top golfing brands in the world. The irons are very well made and durable, same with the putter. The driver and woods are lightweight and and generate some very good power. The carrying bag is also very nice, many pockets and shoulder straps for easy carry. 100% recommend this set for anything looking to get into golf and have a smaller budget, you can’t beat this set at the price point.

Amazon Customer: When I received my order it was missing one cover for the 5h club. I contacted Galloway and was told that they would send me a generic cover, and it wouldn't match my new covers. He said he couldn't break up a set for one cover. Poor business decision. I'm sure they make covers all the time and it wouldn't have been a problem to send me a matching cover for my new Starta golf clubs.

Brad WalkerBrad Walker: Purchased the 12 Piece Strata Set. Overall this set is pretty good for a beginner. Purchased for my teenager and he likes the clubs much more than his hand me down top flight clubs.

only drawback is the driver. he has been to the range once and played 18 holes - 2nd time to the range the driver head broke.

*HOWEVER* - I called Callaway customer service. They answered right away and when i told the rep what happened - he got a replacement driver setup to ship. A much upgraded driver the Callaway Maverick.
Have not received it yet but that says alot when a company sends you a replacement that is more than 50% of the value of the entire set.

*Update - Mavrik driver was delivered included driver cover. Great customer service.

Mike Klepp: I recently purchased this set for my brother and had the chance to take it to the driving range before giving it to him. The set is a barebones one, but it exceeded my expectations with its great feel, straight hits, and forgiving nature.

As an avid golfer (read: hacker) myself, I found the clubs to be impressive overall. They performed admirably on the driving range, providing consistently straight shots and a comfortable feel.

While I have used higher-end putters like my own Odyssey and others' Camerons before, I found the included putter in this set to be decent but not exceptional. It's essential to manage expectations when comparing it to more premium options.

This set is an excellent choice for beginners or those looking to upgrade from their first set without breaking the bank.

If you're considering entering the world of golf and want a quality start, this set is a fantastic option. While I had access to a local shop with a wide selection of used clubs at reasonable prices, I believe this set would have been a strong contender if that weren't the case.
