AC: I ended up buying this sunscreen for my white cats' (ears and noses), rather than for people, so they can enjoy my screened-in porch in the FL summer without fear of skin cancer. It seems to be working well. Feline sunscreen is tough because zinc oxide and many of the chemical ingredients in typical human sunscreens are highly toxic for cats, so far this is best/only one that I found.
It is difficult to apply, as the product is very thick. I find the best thing to do is to scrape some off with a butter knife and warm it in my fingers and applying it that way, rather than trying to use the stick as an applicator.

SV650: Pros: This teaches kids to apply sunblock on their own and makes it easy to do. No bad chemicals.
Cons: The formula is super-viscous and is very thick and pasty. I would take thick and pasty over greasy, but it's hard to rub in since it's not very "moist." II find this is best for faces, but prefer to use more of a "lotion" for the rest of the body.
Efficacy: It works--we can see tan lines where our 3 year old does/doesn't apply it!

L.T.: For those who are more concerned about a white glow, go to wal*A$t and get some cheap sunscreen. It's supposed to block harmful rays and while you think the person will not tan, I can tell you that my son has one. But he never has burned. And to be honest, you need to rub the sunscreen on, not leave it there in a pasty white mess. Try the year-round version. It seems to be a little more fluid and easier in application.
California Baby has provided my son excellent protection for all two years since he was going on walks in carriers since he was two months old. The sunblock stick is a little hard to use, at first, but Logan likes to put it on himself and then I put more on and add the Everyday/Year-round sunscreen. Additionally, the seller was terrific and delivered before the estimate! Thank you!

Ms. Tamara M. Shand: This is the only sunblock my daughter will wear I think because of the ease of application. It goes on easy, is fun to put on and I feel good about using a mineral based sunblock on my 3 year old. Well worth the money.

JC: My daughter contacted me on Sunday and asked that I order three different sunscreen products from a drug vendor. I tried and they didn't have two of them. I got on amazon and ordered them. Amazon uses the lowest price algorithm to select the vendors, I guess. Anyway, three different vendors were selected and I used expedite shipping (a few business days). The cost of each item was about the shipping and handling on them. One came in on Wednesday, one on Thursday, and one on Friday at 3 PM. I was pulling out the drive to meet my daughter's family at the beach and we decided to check the mailbox again. The products are great! One vender was excellent! One okay! One lousy when looking at due date performance! I would have really been upset if it had come after we left for the beach vacation.

Lauren M: This is a mineral sunscreen which is safer than a chemical sunscreen. A chemical sunscreen is absorbed into the skin, into the bloodstream. A chemical sunscreen sits on your skin, protecting it safely. It does leave a very thin white sheen, but that is how it works!!
I love this brand, I wish they did more advertising bc I never heard of it until my ob told me about it in general conversation and its that good. It's a little pricey but so worth it. Babies are more susceptible to chemicals than we are.. Get the good stuff now when it really matters
