Johnny Apollo: Just got them. Image quality is decent as is the back harness. Appears to be an option of using only a neck harness or in tandem with the back harness. The lens covers are not so good as others have noted. They are hinged, removable and very soft. Not sure if they're meant to be left on, just simply opened while using? But they're
too clumsy so I take them off. They certainly don't snap securely in place. My guess is I will lose them or get tired of dealing with them. Would much prefer a hinged cover that held its own. Includes a cloth bag and also a heavier canvas case with belt loop.
The warranty is weird. You're supposed to pay the shipping to return. AND include a $10 check/money order "to cover cost of postage and handling". AND include "return postage prepaid". And, at this time, the warranty registration link doesn't work.

Pots123: These are impressive for their cost. They also arrived early which is always a nice touch. I have two other similar pairs of binoculars from other companies but they aren't even in the same league. The eye relief on these is great and the product finish is well done. I'll be in the market for a higher power binocular after the holidays and this brand will be on my short list .

RetireDon: I bought these to replace a very old pair of Bushnell 10x50 wide angle. So I was able to directly compare performances. Wow! I love the new 10x42 ones! Vastly sharper image, and low light sensitivity. Primary use is for hunting. The neck strap is super comfortable, and adjustable for length. Huge range for depth of field. I can get 40-500 yards without having to fiddle with focus. I can get up on target much faster too. Comfortable eyepiece and I like the eyeglass/no eyeglass adjustment too.
I'm also convinced they are stronger that the 10x zoom rating of the old pair. I have had no trouble with the lenses covers, and because they stay attached all the time, the lenses will stay a lot cleaner.
Would definitely recommend these!

Hungry: I’m one of the luckier guys in this world who is sponsored for my business. I am provided Schmidt & Bender Optics for show casing Precision Rifle products at my range sessions. I obtain Pro-Staff prices from Vortex. But personally when I buy optics for my own competition and use, I buy Bushnell (okay, a couple of Vortex products) Glass. Go figure. I’ve been super impressed by their glass on the HDMR2 scopes with H59 reticles, but that’s just my bias. I was looking/considering the Vortex Diamondback line for my wife and her birdwatching, but I’ve had good luck in the past with the Bushnell Trophy line with my other clients. So I did the comparisons on-line and the XLT Trophy Bone Collector line seemed to be the perfect balance of value and price. I wanted a pair of binoculars my wife could lend to the grand kids/nephews and nieces and not worry about the mild abuse kids will dish out. I wanted these to be able to take the odd drop or fall from passing around among her/my/our guests. Another attractive selling feature of the Bushnell product line is their warranty service provider.
