sunni brisbin: Got these for the kiddo on our cross country road trip to provide some distractions and better I Spy games. Quality feel to these and decent range/magnification. We're still using them at home to watch nature.

Matt K. : Maybe it's me but I'm not a huge fan of these binoculars. I don't like the fact that they only adjust to about a 45 degree angle which doesn't fit the length of my eyes too well. I wish I could adjust them to a smaller angle so they're not so wide when I use them. They tend to be very shaking which makes it tough to see things that are further away. Aside from that, they're not bad binoculars for the price.

Chet: I bought these binoculars for daytime use, with no digital features/batteries to be able to use in case of any electrical disturbance or EMP, to be paired with a laser rangefinder. The daytime images are crisp and clear up to 700 yards (according to the rangefinder). Even in very low-light condition,s images are crisp and clear out to 100-125 yds. However, these are not night vision binoculars and should not be bought if that is what you are looking for. The lever-like magnification adjustment in the center connector is a plus as it makes adjusting images to ranges desired simple and quick and does not irritate your finger as the usual circular ribbed adjustment knobs do. There is a single eye piece/focus adjustment on the right, so you cannot adjust separately for each eye. All adjustments are manual. These are full size binoculars-I wouldn't call them large or excessively heavy. They are surprisingly light for their size but feel like quality, sturdy, well made binoculars able to take some bumps and drops with their rubberized skin. Basically, they are as advertized, with the reviews generally accurate regarding performance and build. There is a neck strap...

Jumelles puissantes, idéales pour observer loin autour de chez soit. Livré avec sa housse de protection.
Seul bémol, l'entourage ou viennent porter les yeux n'est pas très agréable. Autrement dit belle finition et prise en main rapide.

Sandra Dyl: We bought these for our son to use at his ocean front apartment for whale watching. We were looking for a wide field of vision and easy adjustment for distance, and these work well for both. The magnification was less than we expected for the power, but since we are looking at wildlife on the surface of a very large ocean, it may that what we are looking at may be further away than we think. These binoculars would be a bit heavy to carry out in the field. One big negative is that the eye pieces do not adjust closely enough together to accommodate people whose eyes are at all close together, so it would be a good idea to try them to make sure that they will work using both eyes.

Pierre Dupuy:
Not much to dislike at all about these. I have found the Bushnell (model 131056) PowerView 10x50 porro-prism wide angle binoculars to be of excellent quality, and an outstanding value for the price: I bought mine for $48.72, including shipping and tax, through Amazon.com.
What I liked:
- Multi coated optics and Bk7 prisms (borosilicate crown glass) result in a very clear, sharp image. The large 50mm objectives gather light well even in low-light level conditions. I have used them for moon- and star-gazing, birdwatching and general outdoor use. In all circumstances they have performed exceptionally well.
- Image quality. In my opinion, image quality is as good as what I remember with the Steiner binos I was issued when deployed to Anbar Province and Baghdad, Iraq on a US Army Military Transition Team (MiTT) mission in 2006-2007 - if I recall correctly, they were a Steiner 7x50 porro-prism bino with a mil-scale reticle - what the Army refers to as an M22 bino. The civilian version of these Steiners sells for $800.00+. The Bushnells also compare favorably with some of the expensive Nikon, Zeiss, Zeiss/Jena, Leica and Hensoldt/Wetzlar binos I...
