Travis: Striker only has one decent surface to strike and has teeth, no sharp 90 degree. When I used my knife 90 degree spine to scrape it, the alloy just curled off like a feather stick with out any sparks and it took many scrapes of various pressure to achieve ignition.

W.Z.: This rope is NOT 6 mm wide, it is almost twice that width. The ropes will still work to start fires but when you are specifically looking for 6 mm ropes, a larger size will not fit the atomic bear fire wand.
