Justin S.: It’s the little things in life, like being able to pour cat food into free feeder with our having it dump everywhere. The bags would make a huge mess, so
I got a cheap plastic container from Home Goods, well that was a waste of $10. The plastic parts that pulls forward creating a slide for the food would just constantly break and dump food EVERYWHERE. I finally got fed up and decided to buy a new one. This holds almost a lot food but is still light yet sturdy to dump the food into feeder. This is going to make life so much easier 😅 money well spent!

Yup--it's me.: I bought mine in 2018 and used it for birdseeds with no problem. It's airtight, sturdy, and no rats or ants ever got inside it. BUT when I changed it to store dry cat food kibble--that's when I found it has a design flaw (maybe not anymore--check yours--perhaps they have fixed this since 2018.) The design flaw allows mold to grow inside of container, in a lip (ditch?) around the entire bottom edge, which in which cat kibble gets stuck and eventually molds, contaminating the entire container due to mold and mold spores. Worse, this container's "lip/ditch" area can't be cleaned out thoroughly! I tried using a knife, spatula, everything but the moldy food stayed stuck. I'd hoped to thoroughly clean, then bleach the inside of this container before reusing it for my cat kibble, but I can't clean it at all the way it is designed. BUT you would probably be fine IF you kept the cat kibble in its own bag it came in, and simply placed full bag of cat food inside this container, and reopened it daily to scoop some kibble out for cats. Just do NOT keep food inside without it being in a bag.

Maureen McEwan: I bought two of these for the 2 flavors of cat food I buy and they work perfectly. They sit on a small ledge in my laundry room and easily hold the 4 kg bags of food I buy. They have a pour spout, which I use but the lid also snaps off for easy filling. I would definitely recommend these -

JfJf: Semble être un très bon produit. Cependant j’ai reçu un contenant sans le recouvrement blanche de la poignée ( voir le contenant de gauche ) rendant celui-ci irritant a manipuler. Contenant est parfait pour un sac de 20 lbs de granules de bois. Remplit à rebord.😁 j’aimerais avoir un de format double pour mes gros sac de 40lbs. J’avais mal lu, je croyais 16 litre et c’est 35 lbs. c’est 16 lbs. lol. Bon produit. J’espère que la compagnie va faire un format double.

lisalaynelisalayne: It appears I wasn't the only one looking to purchase these to store a full bag of wood pellets for a grill, and it also appears I wasn't the only one totally uncertain of which size would fit a full bag of pellets. I'm posting this review to help others who have the same confusion, due to the discrepancies in the product details here on Amazon!

**Bags of Traeger pellets are 20 lbs.**
There are 2 very different sized containers available - both of which are called "Large" right in the Product Title (?!?).

Naturally, I chose the larger of the 2...
since the smaller of the 2 states that it holds only UP TO 12 LBS. (In fact in all 3 places where the capacity is stated, 20 lb is the max capacity you will find mentioned... and that refers to BIRDSEED. Given grilling pellets are much larger than pieces of birdseed, an accurate assumotion should be that 20 lbs. of pellets would take up more volume & therefore would NOT fit in the smaller container. NOT THE CASE!)

SP: Seems like a solid airtight container. The sizing seems a bit smaller than I expected. It says it fits up to 16 lbs of food- I’m assuming that means if you dump the food into the container. I wanted to keep it in the bag. I have a 14.5 lb bag of cat food and it didn’t fit. Overall, I like the product, just be careful of the size you buy.
