You simply cannot install another printer as easy as you can a Brother. Unpack it. Sit it on your table. Pull all the tape off and plastic. Load the toner and then turn on the machine. There is an "internet" symbol in the middle bottom of the screen. Select it. It will ask you if you want to connect wirelessly. Select yes. It will find your internet connection and ask for the password. Type it in and it does the rest. Then go to your computer and download the software for your machine at Brother.com. Install the software. First thing it will ask you is how do you have your printer connected. Select wirelessly. It will find your printer and do the rest. The print quality and speed are excellent. Whether it is ink jet or laser I highly recommend Brother. Cheers.

Bret M.: Like many others, I threw my HP ink jet in the garbage after years of fighting with ink cartridges and the entire printer not working because of a color not cooperating. Wish I’d made this swap sooner. It was very easy to set up on the wifi and get connected to everything on our network. Printing directly from an iPhone is really handy. Can’t comment on longevity, but I’m happy so far.

TheDanceGuy: Well, lets see You basically dig around on line getting user manuals and what you need to install it. The little documentation that comes with it is not of the same printer. So your not sure where to install the toner but just go for it. It wasn't hard to actually get it installed to my router and it is working pretty well. With the exception of when I power it up and put a print job to it, my lights in the overhead fan start syncing and flickering... ????? It is plugged into the same outlet as the light switch is on... Interesting. There's not another one or I'd change it. Anyway, it prints. We'll see for how long.

elia lillo: It's a very strong build machine compared to the flimsy plastic ones around for the same price. If you need a fax machine should look for the ones in the market, Brother has some. Brother RHLL2395DW gives a good performance for a small demand, it's features cover printing, scanning and copying, not bad for the price and quality offered.

The Norm: Fairly easy to install on all three of our laptops. Works well, responsive when needed, no issues so far. Printing very acceptable but at this stage it should be. Reasonably priced. If I have problems I will be sure to let everyone know.

Andrew: Admittedly this is my first laser printer, but I could not be happier with this one. It's fast, responds well to our phones (both iPhone and Android) over wifi, and the quality is fantastic. Collectively, my wife and I have owned every brand of ink printer and they are universally disappointing in at least one aspect. This doesn't do colour, but that doesn't matter to us at this point. We've used the scanner the least, though we do know it works. The copier function wasn't something we thought we'd use but we did end up using it a couple times and it was so easy. If you don't need colour I highly recommend this printer!

Crystal Bencic: This printer is fantastic. I’ve only been using it for two days but connecting to the Wi-Fi was so easy. The print quality is excellent. As long as it continues to work the way it is I will be so happy. My only thought is that the scan lid is so light it feels cheap compared to the rest of the product. this printer is fantastic. My only though is that the scan lid is so light it feels cheap compared to the rest of the product. With that being such a small issue I would completely purchase this product again and recommend it to anybody who’s looking for an inexpensive laser printer.

Arct1c0nArct1c0n: Yep, after over two decades of both personal and professional usage of Inkjet printers a variety of work environments as both a personal geek an IT support specialist, I finally had enough of the Inkjet Insanity.
After getting laid off from Christmas this year and starting to go job hunting and dealing with that fiasco only to find my 4th or 5th inkjet printer in around 8 years was clogged AGAIN from my very sporadic lack of use and I would have to shell out over $60 in ink and then spend God knows how much time troubleshooting, running test prints and wasting tons of ink and money trying to unclog the dried jet heads on my $120 Canon Pixma printer, I finally snapped, NO MORE!!!!!!!
Being the IT guy for over 14 years, I have worked with many Brothers over the years and though I am sorta of biased to HP's Laserjets, Brothers laser printers have had a good record in my book for being mostly reliable, solid, easy to troubleshoot and fix and also pretty dang good up front cost e vs other brands, namely Canon and HP.
I have worked on many MFC models over the past decade and the more basic HL printer only series pretty much falls in line with the MFC series. After...

Maytee Aspuro y Gonzalez: My old laser printer needed to be replaced and after some research I chose this Brother. I am not a high-volume printer and I do not need color copies, nor do I want to pay for the additional initial machine and ongoing cost of color toner. I also refuse to pay for inkjet supplies.
I did want to upgrade to a machine that had copy and scanning capabilities. I find the machine controls intuitive. The size allowed the printer to fit on the lower shelf of a printer stand. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase. I was able to get third-party replacement toner that has worked well. In conclusion, this seems to be a good mid-price home office choice.
