ichigo_tart: This hat might not exactly be the most stylish, but it was very comfortable, and it worked well for its purpose. I took it with me traveling, and we were in the hot sun. I didn’t get a burn and it kept me very cool.

T Dub: Wide brim is the perfect texture - doesn’t flop into your eyes in front, and drapes without sticking to your neck in the back. Love the hole for a ponytail. Folds flat without damaging the brim - easily backed into my suitcase or backpack for a day trip.

Sk_y: I use this all the time in the summer, especially when I am gardening.
Pros:

- Lightweight, doesn't get too hot in the summer

Smiley: I own a couple of hats in this style and they are really great for sun protection, so when I saw a black one for a decent price, I decided to give it a try. This particular hat fell short for me in a couple of places. First of all, the loops for the chinstrap are placed a little too far back on the brim. They hang over my ears, which gets uncomfortable and when the wind kicks up, the hat flies off of my head. The second problem is that the circumference of the hat runs a bit small. I have a pretty average sized head, but this hat squeezes me rather tightly. I can wear it, but it leaves nasty hat marks all around my head when I take it off and when it does fly off my head because of the wind, it is hard to get back on and get the hair situated. On the upside, it is lightweight and seems like it will hold up well. Also, when I wash it, the water beads up and runs right off of it, so although I haven’t tested this part out in a real rain situation, it seems like the waterproof factor will be pretty good. The sun protection is great and the ponytail hole is nice to keep the hair off the neck for extra cooling.

Barbara Cundari: This is a nice hat, but did not look good on me......the brim is huge, and would no doubt look nice on someone younger and taller. It would also have taken up far too much room in my suitcase, as the brim is quite rigid, and does not fold.
Returned it and had to pay postage (around $9 CAD) as this item came from the States. For that reason, I would NOT order from this particular company again.

grandpiano: Everything about this sun hat is great!! Kept my head cool, flap on back protected neck from sun (first time I have come across this flap and what a great idea), the tie keeps the hat from blowing away, and it was so light in weight that it was a joy to wear. Any other sun hat I have had over the years always caused my heat to sweat. Not with this one. And the temperature this summer has been ranging from high 20s to mid 30s. Highly recommend!!

Cheeky.mama.bear: The hat is lightweight, which is good but the thing i do not like is that it is see through. I have dark hair so i feel i looks weird that half way were it isnt doubled fabric it shows the darkness of my hair on the white hat. However it fits great and im sure will be more than effective down south, as it truly gives shade and coverage to back of neck and face.

Sandra: I am not a "hat" person but needed one for the summer. I always burn on the back of my neck and most hats leave this area exposed. I wanted something I can keep in the car for when out on day trips etc. This one is perfect! It can be folded up without damaging the shape, it's light and comfortable and covers the back of my neck and shoulders. The added bow makes it more feminine, now I want to buy it in different colors! Highly recommended.
