MURPH C: The media could not be loaded.  Delivered to the front door a day early. Light enough to easily move to the back patio on a hand cart myself...I am 71 years old. Easy to assemble using the provided instructions (mostly pictures). 12 Allen bolts 4 hex bolts. Allen wrench and open end wrench included. Connected my 5 gallon propane tank. Checked for leaks with soapy water. No leaks. Put in the included 1.5 volt battery for the ignitor. Total assembly time was about an hour and half...and I usually take twice as long as most people say they take (I don't believe 'em). Fired up right away. Set the dial to around medium. The heater put out plenty of heat. I could feel a warm glow on my face while sitting in a chair about 4 feet away from the 5 to 8 inch high flames. AZ Cyclist: Got this fire pit for $285, far less than any other fire pit of this size, output, and quality that I'd priced. Main issue I had with it was some damage from shipping, where the control bracket had been stressed, pulling out the pressed-in threaded inserts. I was able to easily improvise a fix and got the pit assembled and working. My advice to the company that makes these - don't depend solely on cardboard and foam for your shipping, use wood to protect key areas. I'd have been glad to have paid $20 more for better packing. I'd also ordered two 10 lb containers of nice blue fire pit glass. The glass that ships with it is OK at best, rather cheap, and some have reported issues with it. Heat and performance from the pit is excellent, surface finish is very good, and it's very strong when assembled correctly. To make it easy to move around, I bought two cheap dollys from Harbor Freight, and used two scrap wood planks to tie them together and make a transport for the pit, works great. IMO, this pit is a great deal and if you can get it when Amazon offers a deal on it, even better.

Amazon Customer: The media could not be loaded.  Assembly is super easy for one person to do. I had one issue starting it, which is easy to resolve: If you have difficulty getting it to light, or it doesn’t stay lit after you let go of the control knob, check to see if the table frame is interfering with the knob pushing in all the way. Try pulling the knob off altogether and see if that helps. That fixed my problem immediately!
Pros: A really nice appearance, good quality table. The flame height is great, and it kicks out a fair amount of warmth!
Cons: You’ll need a more durable weatherproof cover.
Tremendous value. Well built! Because of the cover they provide I’d give it 4.9 stars if I could, but what the heck, I’m rounding up to a full 5 stars.

StephanieStephanie: This table is great, especially for the price!! Assembly was very easy, and shipment was fast. It puts off great heat and is very pretty. If you don’t like super shiny, this may not be for you. The hammered metal is quite shiny, but I like it, and it is very durable. I already dropped a heavy metal tool on it by accident and not a scratch or dent.

I wish I knew how to add more than one photo so I could illustrate the original table, as well as the cover. The first table I got was bent upward on the top. The metal was so solid that there was no way to bend it back into place. Getting a replacement was super easy though, and arrived two days later. The replacement was in perfect condition. Because of the ease of replacement, I wouldn’t subtract anything for that. The cover that they offer is funny. Please, plan on providing your own cover. It is made of plastic that is not much stronger than a grocery bag. It is also made for a table about half the size of this one. This is why I wish I could add a photo...it is so funny. I was able to (barely) just cover the top, luckily, since I didn’t have another cover and we got rain for a few days straight. I...
