Bruce B.: Just finished assembly of bar unit with the help of two experienced friends. Took about three hours to assemble. First the good points, unit looks good in the small bar area I have in the house. Provides sufficient space for bar accessories. Unit seems stable but I might need to place some pads on base corners. Now the negatives, my friends and I assembled a cabinet a few days ago before assembly of this bar. Reviews for the cabinet had many negative comments regarding the cam locks but we had no problems. However, just the opposite for this bar. Package included sufficient amount of locks and they matched well to holes, however, half the locks broke during installation. We tightened the locks manually and didn’t use any power tools. Regardless, the locks broke just hand tightening. I ended up going to a local hardware store and purchased additional cam locks which appeared to be better quality and worked well in assembling the unit. Before you start assembly you may want to take one of the cam locks and go to your local hardware store to purchase addition locks. G B: Packed very well no damage! As others mentioned, instruction not very clear, and many cam lock fasteners don't want to latch up, some brake. Praise for extra parts included! Assembly was difficult and not for the average homeowner. Needed a metric tap to get cam lock post installed. Appears factory grinds surface smooth fouling the threads so bad you can't get cam post started. Glad I had a metric tap set! Going to need two people at times and lots of patients! Had an issue with the draw not lining up to the point it would not close. Took awhile to adjust the draw slides to make it work right and look ok. Looks very nice finished but now I have to move it to an outside shed and don't know if it's sturdy enough to make the trip without the cam locks coming undone or breaking due to the heavy weight. Gave 4 stars due to overall finished appearance but, it comes with pain.

Tiffany CiambellaTiffany Ciambella: I’m a 5’5” out-of-shape 50 y/o female. I put this together myself in 2 1/2 hours with little breaks in between completion of each section. Pretty simple assembly but the cam locks are basically useless. One split in two. Half didn’t catch the screw and hopefully the other half will hold it together! I only needed help lifting the top onto the base and lining up the screws with the holes. I’m very happy with this purchase but please fix the cam lock issue! I’ve seen the same complaints in other reviews! It fits 2 stools in front and 1 behind. It’s about chest height on me. It has a drawer and cabinet as well as a built in glass holder underneath the top. Oh…and 3 shelves! All in all, if I can assemble it…you can too!!

roger george: We caught this bar on sale so the value was pretty good. The door is a good addition because we can hide the alcohol or anything we don’t want the cats to knock over. Would be nice if there was a specific spot of shot glasses, but that’s minor. Difficult to put together, but sturdy.

Fernando G: Is really good looking piece but put this bar together is almost impossible the cam lock don't work at all I have to glue it a lot of pieces took me almost 12 hrs, I am handyman and was hard to me put it together .

LoveLife: The bar itself is very nice. The cam locks included in the package are crap. The zinc is so soft they do not hold the screws when attached. We ended up having to screw the top part to the sides and the sides to the bottom. If the cam locks worked it would have been a 5 star.
