Bright Starts Sit and See Safari Floor Mirror: An Engaging Tummy Time Activity Toy for Babies

Bg: I returned this. My 2-3 month old baby loved looking at herself in the mirror during tummy time. It was the best way to keep her from screaming while doing said tummy time. I bought some baby-safe large format acrylic mirrors to use for tummy time at home and wanted a smaller one we could bring with us while visiting my in-laws for a week, so I bought this. The “mirror” material is compressible and flimsy and very distorted, like a low-quality flimsy tiny funhouse mirror fragment. It wasn’t worth what I paid for it in tens of quality or functionality. My baby wasn’t particularly interested in it, either. Probably because the distorted image wasn’t as engaging to her as being able to see her face reflected, or the room around her.

Marta: Si tienes un bebé, incluso te diría un recién nacido, cómpralo. Ya sólo por lo que les llama la atención el verse reflejados (aunque en su principio sea borroso). Con este tipo de "juguetes" fortalecen muchísimo la musculatura y el tronco si los pones boca abajo en sus primeros meses. Incluso puedes animarles a que giren la cabeza o incluso a que se animen a voltearse. A parte tiene una parte más "sensorial", de dos ojitas que al tocarlas hacen ruido (rollo como bolsa de patatas), que a los bebés tan chiquinines les chifla. Mi hijo tiene año y medio y todavía cuando lo ve le sigue llamando la atención el verse reflejado. Así que acierto asegurado.

Zb22: Our kiddo loves this mirror. We started out using it for tummy time. Love that it folds flat because its easy to throw in the diaper bag. We now use it to encourage rolling as well. We set it up beside our kiddo and he likes to turn and roll towards it. Great purchase
