The print is a little less vibrant in person but that doesn't stop my child from liking them. The inserts come out easily- I'm thinking of glueing them in before we take to the water but my LO is very excited to use them at the beach and loves to wear them without the inserts around at home and in the backyard. The sole is still rubberized so it still offers protection on terrain I know isn't hazardous. I measured my LOs foot and picked the size based on that and it worked out well.

M. Wells: My kids love these shoes. We had bought them each a pair about a year ago, sized a little large. Both of my daughters (about to turn 4 and 5 years old) loved these shoes more than any others. Wore them nonstop for about year until both pair finally started to fall apart. Got back on amazon, found some updated styles (hello unicorns and mermaids), and now I have happy children again. The shoes held up remarkably well for the cost. They make good river shoe (since that is their primary purpose) but my girls use them for everything. Playing, hiking, slippers, you name it. Great value, would recommend.

Becca: The picture that's advertised makes it look like the sole is thicker than it really is, which is unfortunate. It's only about a quarter inch thick, which is okay for my couple trips to the pool a year, but I'm not sure how it's going to survive the beach for more than a day, or a waterpark. But we shall see! I would probably next time rather get a more sturdy shoe for longer days, but the shows did stay on and my daughter loves the designs!

Rae: These are GREAT!!!! Only thing I didn't like was that the sole of the shoe comes out really easily that's the only reason for the 4 stars. Some people may enjoy this factor but my 3yo lost one of the soles in the water while playing.... Otherwise these are great! I did size up one shoe size to give my daughters toes some room. They fit great for sizing up one size! I purchased a size 10 but my daughter wears an 8.5-9 in regular shoes. My daughter also has "thick/wide" feet and the elastic around the ankle was not too tight at all! We love these and will use them again in the future!

Kelly OKelly O: Pros: These water shoes are very cute and stylish! They came in a plastic zip bag which could be reused to store them after use. These also seem to be very durable. My daughter wore them to walk on many seashells at the beach and they never ripped or tore.
Cons: ran slightly large. My daughter is not much of a swimmer yet so they stayed on her, but if you are purchasing these for someone who is an avid swimmer I would suggest sizing down. The insole also slipped out of one shoe but they were still able to be worn comfortably and I just removed the insole from the other shoe.

Overall this is a decent product for the price and I would definitely recommend purchasing if you are on a budget.
