I've read Pickles many times before, but the reviews aren't very detailed so I didn't know what to expect. First, there are no color comic strips. Second, you get a few comic strips for each year and some of them have fun facts or stories. If you don't know which Pickles book to start with you will get a good mix with this one and see the art style change to what it is today

Great to see the evolution of a very true and heart-warming cartoon. I think Brian Crane lives at my house! My husband & I are approaching 50 yrs. together, and our Marriage has had many of these moments . It's true that over time your relationship changes into something solid and stable. Heat and passion aren't all the experts say! Love, comfort, and stability have a lot going for them! And Mr. Crane draws it all perfectly!
