jared kayjared kay: We've had this for a few years now and use it all the time. My beautiful wife makes the best tomato soup right on the stove top with this Breville immersion blender. It's top-rated which is why we got it! In-fact, I JUST made some yellow sriracha with the small food processor attachment. The thing is a blending beast and we've been very happy with it. The only thing I wish it had was a case that would nicely hold it and all its attachments (although a plastic storage container works mostly ok).

Tamara Kahler: I bought this primarily based on the longer shaft and ease of cleaning. I had no interest in the extra parts, but I felt like the price was good so I bought it anyway expecting to put the extra components in a cabinet where they would never see the light of day again. Then I was scheduled for a surgery and began meal planning—and those extra parts I thought I’d never use, were used 2 days later and made my meal prepping so much easier. Great product.

Megan: This is the best immersion blender. I have used it for 6 years. I make mayonnaise in 2 min. I’ve made tons of spaghetti sauces, I’ve puréed beans many times. This thing doesn’t stop. D-slam: Our 20 year old immersion blender conked out and when I did some research for a new one, this was at the top of the list based on features and reviews. We already have an excellent Breville blender so we didn’t need anything more powerful than this. But, it has more than enough power for our needs. Note: anything that requires serious ice crushing power goes in the blender! I really love the design, in that each type of use has a separate attachment. That makes it easy to disassemble for compact storage. Our old immersion blender did not disassemble in the same way + the attachments on this Breville made our 20 a year old Cuisinart mini-chopper redundant. So this one product replaced 2, works better than the older products, and we’ve gained storage space! All good!

Sue B.: I picked the Breville over other popular immersion blenders by Kitchen Aid, Braun, etc. because of the strong reviews and the fact that all the fittings it comes with makes it more multi-functional than most others. I also have good feelings about Breville as they provided me with a replacement microwave tray when I had problems with the original one. So far this machine has really lived up to expectations. I found that it's so good (and quick) at whipping cream or egg whites that I don't need to buy a separate hand mixer for that purpose. It probably won't do heavy dough, but that's what my stand mixer is for. Very happy with this machine!

How products work: June 2nd the motor died on the blender now. So disappointed
Couldn't wait to get this, got it a day earlier then it said, altho I bought it from amazon warehouse at reduced price because of cosmetic flaws, a scratch on the big pitcher,
it didn't have the original box, but came with all parts, wrapped in clear plastic bags, and tags, as well as operation manual.
I was using two food processors to grind up my husband's food and constantly having to wash them, etc, got to be so much extra work, and I dreaded it.
Immersion blenders are easy to clean and then quickly move to the next thing for the menu, also you have more control with these as to what you want to mash, puree or just chop by hand with a stick blender vs. food processor.
I feel liberated from the washing and cleaning of my big processors.

Jeanniehihi: I had a Braun immersion blender for the past 4 years and it had the little 1 cup chopping bowl as well as two 2cup jars. It did the job fine except the chopping bowl's blade had a crevice that accumulated dirt and for doing baby food i thought this was disgusting and needed a new one. anyway, this arrived today, I tested the blending shaft and the chopping bowl. Made some baby food with it (about 1 c of carrot puree) and I am so far satisfied. The jar is 1250ml and the chopping bowl is 750 so I take this as my mini food processor. The different speeds count for the type of chop you want. For chopping an onion i.e., low speed would have relatively good chunks and for baby food or smoothies, go to the max! Very excited to continue using it regularly. All the materials are very good quality. Hard plastic, no crevice in the chopping blade and very comfortable handle. My braun was just a straight shaft and was still easy to use, but this ergonomic design DOES make a difference. The noise is quite high when using at max speed, but not as noisy as a regular food processor or regular blender.
And for storing, you just put the chopping bowl in the jar, put the lid underneath and there...
