Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: The media could not be loaded.  i have always been hairy esp my face and had to use a razor every week. this picture is taken after using the epilator a MONTH ago. so definitely effective.
i would say that it’s very painful and since it was my first time doing it i used a numbing cream so would recommend that.
another thing- a couple hours later i had a quite a few breakouts and i read that after using epilator on face sometimes there are small ingrown hair which causes the bumps. the bumps lasted for couple weeks. but that’s a trade off i’m willing to make :)
AND AS FOR THE RAZOR- it doesn’t shave it works more of a trimmer

M. N.: How am I 40 years old and only just learning about an epilator? I am an auto immune chronic illness patient and have incredibly we can’t so I was having a lot of trouble holding a razor to shave. I knew I wouldn’t be able to wax my own legs because I wouldn’t be able to grip and pull the wax off, so I decided to take the leap with this& I Love it! The first use took some getting used to the sensation. But I only have to use it once every 3 weeks to 1 month now & I don’t feel it at all. My legs are smooth all of the time. When I am ready to touch up I turn on a show & don’t even look at my legs while I am epilating. It’s so easy & do worth it. I did try it on my face & that wasn’t as successful. I think they just need to work on the shape of the opening of the attachment. I haven’t tried any of the other attachments because I really only got this for my legs & eventually my armpits. (Those are going to take a bit more courage for the first time haha)

KatZ: Good product. I wanted cordless when my prior epilator died, so I changed brands to get this one.
The good news - it does the job, the light helps (especially for us blondes), and it lasts the entire job (and then some) on one charge. My only negative is I think the corded one I had did the job quicker (more grabbers).
ps - I would not buy the one with the face scrubber again - that was a total waste.

swks: Couldn’t give this 5 stars because of a few annoying things, but I’m glad I found it. I bought it mainly for dark chin hair and upper lip. It does a great job of getting rid of it, on an equal par with laser treatments. Some tips: be patient, there’s a learning curve. And it does hurt the most the first time or two. You are removing a lot of hair, it’s going to hurt. Again, to me it’s on the same level as laser hair removal as far as discomfort. Totally doable for the nice results. Take some breaks the first few times.
You have to hold it at a 90 degree angle to your skin, not tilted. Don’t push down. Pull your (clean and dry) skin tight. It’s important to go at the hair from all angles, always on tight skin. you. Once that hair is out, it’s out for weeks. After the first time or two, I now use the higher speed.
Annoying things: the directions and pictures are terrible. Spend some money on your literature with larger print and clearer pictures. It is hard to turn on and off with wet or damp fingers. And I don’t feel it stays charged very long at all, still charged but you can hear it’s not rotating as fast. I sense this becoming a problem. My skin is now...

Doris M. Morson: Jennifer Connolly talked about it on her Blog, she said she loved it so I took her word for it and bought it. I have not regretted that decision. If I had a negative on any part of it, it would be in the instructions showing you how to put it together for different uses. I found if confusing and had my daughter help me, it took her a few minutes to 'sort out' the way each photo is numbered and shown.

Gabriela Herrera: Pasé meses pensando en comprar esta máquina y después de un tiempo me animé. El propósito de mi compra fue específicamente para mis brazos, pero primero probé en las piernas.
Debo aclarar que ya llevo cuatro o cinco años depilándome las piernas con cera, así que en esta zona no dolió, pero sí me costó mucho trabajo terminar las piernas completas y más en la parte de atrás (resulta un poco incomodo). Definitivamente continuaría con la cera en esa zona porque es más rápido.
En cuanto a los brazos, sí duele pero lo considero muy soportable. Antes de querer hacerlo, una noche antes me aplico exfoliante en los brazos.
Finalmente, lo ocupé en las axilas. Esta zona fue la que definitivamente dolió más, incluso tuve que colocarme compresas calientes para aliviar el dolor mientras ocupaba la máquina (tardé casi dos horas porque no aguantaba el dolor y hacía varias pausas). Una semana pasó y los vellos (muy delgados) apenas se veían, así que la ocupé de nuevo, esto fue mucho más sencillo que la primera vez (tal vez en menos de cinco minutos ya había terminado).
