Skylar Stubleski: It works as intended and lives up to the Braun name. I use their leg epilator and decided to get the facial one to take care of those thicker whiskers. It doesn’t clean all too easily since they instruct in the manual to not place the head under running water, but the brush it comes with is enough to clean hairs out from the epi head. Overall, I only have to use it about once to twice a month and it does it’s job marvelously.

MaryMary: I have PCOS and have been plucking my chin since I was 12 (it was a single dark hair and just slowly began increasing). I am 27 now and finally got fed up with tweezing. I feel like I have around 30 dark hairs on my chin now and keeping up with them when they don't grow at the same rate is a daily task.

I refused to wax because the hair needs to be a certain length, and I don't want to have a beard between waxings.

I was concerned about using an epilator because I have heard it hurts. But honestly - this hurts much less than waxing and tweezing. I could never tweeze my upper lip, I always used a razor up there. But the epilator goes in and gently pulls the hairs out. I don't even realize it's doing it in the process, to be honest.

My chin has never felt so smooth as it does right now. Absolutely a phenomenal purchase and I will recommend it to everyone!

Heather L.: I recently discovered these magical hair removers after spending literally hours per day with tweezers and a mirror, removing hairs from my face (thanks, pcos). Once discovering these devices I bought all of the highest rated ones. I ultimately did not think this one was strong enough nor big enough to handle the amount of hair I grow. I did end up with a Braun brand but this one is just too weak and too small, in my opinion.

M Shelly: I’ve had this for a little over 2 years. Overall, this small epilator will do a good job at removing your mustache fuzz. Advise to press your lips together to hold the skin taut while epilating and ensure that the spinning head is centered over the area you are working on. There is a small risk that loose skin will get caught and pulled into the head and that is not fun. I’d be really hesitant to use it on my eyelid area or anywhere there is loose skin.

I was hoping this would work to remove the fine hairs that grow on my knuckles, but it really doesn’t do well on these for some reason.

It doesn’t hold a charge, so you have to charge it up right before you plan to use it. It also doesn’t work while plugged in, so this is inconvenient. It only takes 30-40 minutes to fully charge. I haven’t run out of power during an epilating session.

Everyone will experience the epilating sensation differently so I’m not sure it’s worth commenting on pain level, but I find it uncomfortable. It’s more uncomfortable than waxing for me. I still use this because of the convenience and effectiveness but it isn’t painless. Also, the head is difficult to clean...

Lauren: Please understand that I am someone who has used an epilator on my arms, legs and bikini area for over 5 years so I know how to use an epilator and how they should work.

I bought this because I finally decided to splurge on something more delicate that I could use on my face. I currently own the Emjoi "soft caress" which is about the size of a shaver, so too big for facial use.

I bought this because it had alright reviews and I figured you get what you pay for so I wanted to buy something I would use on my face that was reliable and solid.

IT WAS CRAP. First I tried it on my arm and knuckle and NO HAIR REMOVED AT ALL. I thought maybe I had not charged it enough so I made sure it was fully charged then tried again. Absolutely no hair removal. I tried in all directions with varying pressure and NOTHING. This machine has a switch so you can change the direction of the "blades" and that did nothing. I do have blond, very fine hair, but again, I regularly use an epilator so I knew this wasn't right.
